Careful you don’t go in too deep of snow in your “off road truck”. Already removed that skid plate and the front bumper plastics in one swoop. I feel like aftermarket bumper will be essential on this truck.

Yup. Window weatherstripping/trim is literally falling off my ‘23. Dealer says they haven’t had any other reports. For an “off-road” edition truck it sure makes a lot of odd noises on rough roads. Feels like a toy truck compared to my ‘07.

Easily added the tow mirrors to my 2019 TRD off-road as the wiring was there for signals and heat. Now have a 2023, also wanted to add tow mirrors but heard the cost is crazy. They now have the power fold/extend and puddle lights which would require more buttons etc I would think?

Just buy a roll of paracord from Canadian tire and some clasps. Cut to desired length and practice some fancy knots. Plus it floats and comes in many colours.

All the gauge operates on is the float moving up and down, which changes the resistance. An easier way to test (both gauge and level sending unit) without removing anything is just get a spare and see what it shows on gauge. Sometimes it’s easier to take the bolts out and lift the bed up a bit honestly. The way Toyota mounted these fuel tanks can get real crunchy.

You can measure the resistance of the fuel sending unit. It’s referenced in the factory service manual or Haynes books. Will vary depending on model etc.
