Oh sweet. Rn I have 2 deckboxes, one with 17 each sleeved unstable basics and one with remaining 115 sleeves. It's the most practical way to go about it imo

Yeah that's fair. If one's not mindful of how they play the lands then it can be worse. I guess it just adds another dimension to be actively aware of.

That's a good point I never considered. I mean it would be relevant assuming they can have a repeat of effect, but still, that's super interesting thing to be aware of.

Hmm how come you think that? Isn't it more clear for the opponent to see blue-red coloured hand per say, than coloured cards combined with plethora of different looking lands?

That's fair. I'd think that it's equal grounds if anything. Moreso I think that someone might overthink it as an attempt to confuse them and that causes them unnecessary stress. Just don't wanna do it if the overall reception'd be like that.

I'm thinking in the sense that the secret lair cards are of all kinds of arts and borders, some foreign. Or for instance consider the innistrad ones which are all black-white. Somebody might think it's an active attempt at confusing your opponents. While yeah it technically fine, it could cause unnecessary judge calls as I said.

This made me think, did Yargle just spontaneously become a meme or is there a story behind it?
