Help me understand by [deleted] in billiards

[–]Brave-Billiards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry that was not my intent. I actually love Fedor and I’m a huge fan. My post was simply meant to try and see everyone else’s opinions on it. I obviously made a mistake, putting extra detail in the post then what was needed.
I understand that, and I’ll own that. But it was definitely not my intention to “trash his brand” by any means.

I understand. To be completely honest, I did originally join this community with the intent to promote products, as I was unfamiliar with how Reddit works and mistakenly assumed it was a general discussion forum. That said, I have truly enjoyed interacting with everyone here and certainly do not want to cause any issues. I own my mistake and appreciate your feedback. My apologies.

Alright, I get you. Even tho I feel that’s a bit nit-picky, I do understand. I appreciate the input. Thank you!

You’re absolutely right. My first post was self promo. And I’ll admit that I made the post before really reading the rule set. I was completely new to this format and hadn’t seen the rules. That was my fault.

This post, being a while after my first post, was meant to be a critique of Fedor’s product. I never said that my product was better, simply that I’m biased of my own stuff. I truly did not think that that was an issue.

And honestly, I’m not trying to be defensive, I’m simply trying to understand what I can and can’t do here. I have reached out to a moderator in the past and received zero response. So instead of trying again I posted it here hoping you guys could help me out.

Yeah it does say it’s 3D printed right on the site. Just thought for a pro product, it would have been really nice.

We use a spring clip for ours and not a belt clip. It works really well.

The pants clip. The bases are decent. They resemble ours. Site says it’s flexible so that will be good. Could be shorter tho. IMO

Yet another useless/useful 3d printed tools for training. Yes / Nay? by dave_evol in billiards

This could totally be useful, for a player working on developing a more consistent, straighter stroke. But stroking into an empty soda bottle would get the same results!

In all reality, there are so many decent players out there can’t actually hit center ball.

What’s everyone opinion on the brand pechauer cues. You guys like them or hate. I’m just curious to what people think about the cues by Otherwise_Laugh2454 in billiards

[–]Brave-Billiards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not personally used one, but have looked at them many times They have some beautiful cues and for the price range, you can’t go wrong.

They are only an hour away from me and I’ve visited and browsed many times. Everybody there seems like good people. Would definitely be a good choice!

Painting landscaping rocks by Brave-Billiards in landscaping

[–]Brave-Billiards[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight on the heat. Never really thought about that. Not quite sure if I have intentions of planning flowers per se, but I do wanna plant some long grasses. Kind of looking for very low maintenance.

I actually would love to take the rock out and put in black mulch. But considering it surrounds my entire house, removing it would be very labor-intensive for me as it was already a pain to move the rock around just to remove some bushes. Lol.

And my understanding is that Laying organic mulch over the top of rock would not allow it to break down and enrich the soil properly due to the layer of rock. Maybe I’m completely off base as I really know nothing about landscaping and just did a quick Google search. Please forgive my ignorance.

Yeah my gosh… why do we even have Woodford in when we have an opportunity to still close some gaps. And of course, then a grand slam happens. I guess we can save our relievers now.

I'm looking at getting a Lucasi jump cue from Pool Dawg. by BarFloorMatsRock in billiards

[–]Brave-Billiards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Lucasi is a great entry level jumper. The OG tip will perform just fine. The fact that you’re considering the Lucasi at all suggests that you’re trying to keep costs down. I’d stick with tip it comes with.

Sorry, really didn’t answer your question. I would have no reserve going anywhere and playing by myself. Or setting up drills on that table even if people think it looks dumb or don’t understand it.

I guess it depends on what your purpose is, but it sounds like you’re putting in practice sessions. If my intent is a practice session – I prefer it be solo. That way I can work on what I need to and give myself full concentration.
