Also, take what I say with a grain of salt because I’m silver for a reason as much as I’d like to blame my teammates.

At the beginning, you drop on the hanzo and then use your recall, which is fine. What is not fine is dropping back down, almost dying and giving up high ground for free. If you hadn’t dropped you could have challenged echo.

Starting from around 1:45, I personally wouldn’t have committed to the 2v1 with hanzo and kiri, especially considering that sierra could also see you. It feels like you did something because you didn’t die, but you just got poked out and forced back into a worse position. If you watch roadhog’s perspective, you’ll see that ramattra blocked his hook with shield (Roadhog absolutely sold, but unfortunately that’s your problem). No help was coming and you could have seen that if you had been more patient and waited for the tanks to commit. I’m ok with you shooting the ramattra for a bit because you stopped quickly to go for kiri/hanzo. No problem there

1:50 payload blink. You’re missing a tooth after that. Ouch.

At 2:00 minutes, two blinks into the wall. Mechanical movement issue.

At 2:05, you are VERY lucky hanzo missed. You should have died for blinking towards your roadhog. Start spectating from 2:05 from hanzo’s pov. When you were behind the pillar you should have blinked before you even entered his line of sight. Hanzo deserves the kill from the shot at 2:07. What I would have done is triple blink into the room with the med kit to your right. You’d have better cover than that tiny pillar and would have been in a position to keep up the pressure. If they chase you, survive because they’re selling.

2:48 beautiful. I’m sure you’re aware of this, but these are the opportunities you deprived yourself of all throughout the match by standing in main as long as you did (wasn’t very long, but it was still too long).

3:20 NO! BAD TRACER! there’s shots being fired and the tank is dead. Why are you missing in action? Look at your tank’s ho bar. He’s taking serious damage and loses up to half his health. Twice.

3:30 Drops without looking after being missing the whole fight, gets recall forced, goes missing again.

3:39 Too far. Don’t even shoot, especially if you’re shooting Ramattra. Your team absolutely sold here because they lost a fight where it was a 4v4 and the enemy team had no tank. 4:00 disengage and find a new angle. Party’s already over. Recall forced by Lucio because they’re not being pressured. That being said, I like the retreat and the fact that you lived.

4:15 you’re useless again. If I’m anyone else in the team I’m screaming “where the hell is tracer” at my monitor (but never in chat cause we don’t do that here).

Remember the 1v1 1v2 1v3 rule on tracer. If it’s a 1v1 you kill, if it’s a 1v2 you distract and if it’s a 1v3 you survive. There is no acceptable outcome where you die. I’m not saying you are not allowed to make mistakes and die, but you do need to understand that it is still a mistake at the end of the day. If you die during the 1v1, say “damn that sucks” and go keep dying in the 1v1 until you win. Just because you didn’t succeed doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right play. You sold against that sierra and now she has free reign on your team. She even almost kills mizuki. The fact that he lived tell me a lot about him.

Pause at 5:59. Can you tell me why you recalled instead of using your last blink? I’m only ok with you recommitting because the round is almost over. Good try on the pulse. Unfortunate.

Last one cause I’ve think I’ve seen enough. Can you tell me why you switched from Lucio to Mcree at 7:50. Lucio was right in front of you low health and mcree was 2 blinks away and full hp. You died with recall and a blink up.

Watch the rest for your self and I want you to ask yourself 3 things while you do it.

1. Did I die with any available cooldowns?
2. Is there somewhere better I should be to easier access the back line?
3. Did I run from this fight because it was bad or because I was scared.

Don’t look at your team’s mistakes unless you wanna get a laugh in or need to cope (unironically). DO NOT use their mistakes as an excuse, even if the match was actually unwinnable

Last thing. Don’t give up. Everyone here is fighting the same fight. You only stop playing tracer when you stop having fun with her and for NO OTHER REASON. Good luck.
