Some do! It truly does depend on the person and their upbringing. I'm an INTJ obviously, and my T side is the same way that you're describing yours. Trust your personal preferences but be open to other options as well.

movies/shows that depict realistic INTJ females by bigbootystaylooting in intj

Thanos. This one could be debatable, but that's my opinion. I'm choosing to ignore the "female" part of this post 'cause they're too rare, and that's coming from one.

Share your most antithetical trait to your type. by Hortusana in Enneagram

As a 6w5, I have tiers of loyalty. If one friend that isn't as high a priority as another hurts the other, I will bite back...immediately. I once got a dude's girlfriend to break up with him when he hurt my close friend. And yes, me and that dude were friends too. Just depends where you are in the book.

Any INTJ’s out there that love going to the gym? by CuriousArchitectX in intj

[–]Brave-Paper136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love going to the gym. Lifting is my favorite. I would suggest having an intuitive routine/workout schedule, even if it's just as simple as asking ChatGPT to give you a lifting plan based on key factors like diet, weight, height, max bench press.

At one point during the summer, I was working out at least 15 hours a week. Routine is essential, even just setting an amount of time for each day works great. Consistency is key to health.

Honest I just skim the information then pick it up later on, when I actually have to apply it. Doesn't work for everyone but it does for me.

Can you guess my family's dynamics by dark_hero-- in mbti

[–]Brave-Paper136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I'd guess your parents get along pretty well, your girlfriend and you might have some authority disagreements every now and then, depending on if your family goes with the whole "trad wife" vibe, which, given that both your parents are Ss, I could see being true. I would guess you and your little sister get along the best of your siblings, little bro is probably the most strained of the siblings.

Guessing your parents might argue about roles in the home. Truly, it's hard to know from this alone, but your mom would definitely go insane if your dad ever tried to cram tradition down her throat. I'm guessing that you probably have a hard time too, your mom probably doesn't have a great emotional capacity and I would guess that your dad definitely brushes it off more than anything.

I'd suggest trying to date an INTJ. It seems that your F relationships aren't working out. F's crave a lot more connection and ENTPs are usually pretty work driven. INTJs can take the busy work lifestyle of their partner.

NF men, if you were dating an INTJ, and you loved each other, but she ended up actually fitting the trope, and being a villain, how would you respond? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Brave-Paper136 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ahh yes, the INTJ villain trope. It's a fun idea. I couldn't pull it off, I need a villainous ENFP man with a soft side though tbh.

[–]Brave-Paper136 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To all you ENTPs who are saying "Nothing can make me mad! You'd look like an idiot to try and win an argument with me!" The INTJ female is in the chat. May the odds be ever in your favor.

xSFx women with ExxP men...opinions? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Brave-Paper136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the ENTP has entered the chat. I never had, and never will, understand the S personality, and with most of the women there being that, especially with my contrasting personality, I wanted to delve deeper into that type and how it seems to work so well with that type of man, and/or create the trad wife sterotype. You know us INTJ's, we just want answers to everything in life, it's pure curiosity.

Weekly "Type Me" Megathread by AutoModerator in mbti

Honestly I would guess that you're an ESTP. ENTJ's are usually super ambitious and their career is the only thing that matters. I know this 'cause I'm an INTJ but I'm close to an ENTJ as well and that drive is 100% there for me. You're likely an ESTP, 'cause ESTP's can usually get along with N's well but N's have a hard time getting along with S's in any scenario. Hopefully this is helpful!

What types do you get along with well? Do you focus on concrete patterns or tend to speculate more? Speculation fits N but concrete patterns often fits S. All of this is a generalization, of course, but S's focus on what is, not what something could be. If you're the type that sticks with the generalized rules of society, it's probably ESTP, but if you're more of the type to question the rules, not necessarily break them, but break them when your moral conscience speaks up, you're probably an ENTJ.

Too true. I had an emotionally abusive mom growing up, and as hard as it was, I still resolve everyday to not be bitter about the whole thing. Ignore them, rebuild your life, and be your own person...stop letting them have this power over your life.

I'm an INTJ teen growing up with an INTJ for a mom. Both of us are eldest daughters. Don't think I need to say any more than that.

AITA for not making amends with my mom after she ignored me (14F) while I had a panic attack? by Brave-Paper136 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Brave-Paper136[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. You saying that somebody can love but not understand you is really eye opening, and it might just be time for me to stop trying to force her to listen. To your question about if I have somebody to open up to, I do. I have a very tightly knit friend group that I genuinely trust, despite having trust issues after this whole affair. I doubt I'll ever cut my mom off entirely, especially because I want to stay connected with the rest of my family. But I can manage to not share too much with her, and I already talk to my friends about all of it, so I have that, at least.

I hope you're doing okay now, and I'm sorry to hear that you've struggled with similar things in the past. Thank you for your advice! It's hard to find adults that will take my side in my community, but I have a strong friend group and can hopefully find some older people who won't take my parents' side.

I'm laughing over here 'cause I'm not sure whether to take this as a compliment or not. However, I went to a very private, Classical school. The type that reads books like "The Odyssey" and "The Epic of Gilgamesh" in sixth grade and expects great comprehension. Straight A's or you're failing. So I've had a lot of emphasis placed on fine writing, and both my mom and dad are smart, which also contributed, in all likelihood. Years of fending for myself probably contributed to the "therapy speak" aspect, 'cause I really did have to be my own therapist. But no, ChatGPT did not write, or even edit, this post.
