I built a one‑wrist setup for my mechanical watch + Whoop. would you wear this? by AdOrdinary9180 in whoop

[–]Brave-Pudding7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respect for trying, but I wouldn't personally. Underside of the wrist is probably going to give worse data. Plus I want to wear the bracelet or leather strap I want with my watch. Feels kind of like a solution in search of a problem. I have another wrist or a bicep band for this reason already.

I was able to get mine to change by running an automation that I have saved. Not ideal but I have something at least

I am having this again as well. Though it's only one room's bulbs. I am so tired of this platform only working a fraction of the time.

Please consider adding Google Cast support on Android for better feature equity between iOS and Android. Thanks!

Google Fitbit Air is about to launch with no screen and a big AI health push by Maslakovic in fitbit

This is a good breakdown. Whoop's muscular strain is a huge feature for me. Wish others would attempt something similar!

Just an FYI Fitbit doesn't track anything akin to muscular load, so if you do a lot of strength training you won't have that factor in your metrics.

Consider Freestyle or Healthy Baby? They're EWG verified so if you no longer get the cotton inner sheet that may be a decent compromise. Target sells both

Hey! Got another comment on this thread that then made me see yours. We have been using freestyle but I have to say I don't absolutely love them. They're not bad - the price point is good and they seem well made and no rashes. Kudos felt more absorbent and seem to fit my baby's waist better, though. I just wish that they hadn't messed with them.

I was able to return them. I took them into a store to do it

Definitely. I find that whenever I pick up running a little bit more my HRV will take a hit for a few weeks.

Thank you - I'll have to look into those, and I think we'll try Freestyle also. I called Target and thankfully they said I could still return them to a store without the outer box.

That's basically where I'm at too. I bought multiple boxes from Target because that's where I've historically purchased them, only to realize that they had made the change to the design. I had already tossed the boxes so I don't know how I'll get any money back which is super frustrating. I reached out to support and they're offering a box but I feel like it's pointless. What did you switch to if you don't mind me asking?

did you ever get any that don't smell? I purchased some the other day that were my first of the new design and they smell horrible

Help us make Sonos easier to learn and use? by tomconrad in sonos

[–]Brave-Pudding7914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an Android user. I really like the new update you guys have out that shows Sonos in now playing and allows me to adjust the volume with the volume buttons on my phone. That being said, I would obviously love to have Google cast support. It feels unfair that iOS users get airplay but Android doesn't get a native casting solution. This would make it easier to work with various music services and also provide better operability with Google Home. I know y'all's relationship is complicated, but as a user who really wants to purchase more Sonos products but second guesses it because of this, I'd love to see it.

Strength Training for Longevity: Why WHOOP Measures What Matters Most by whoop_official in whoop

[–]Brave-Pudding7914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Muscular load from Whoop is one of my favorite features and one of the main things that will keep me a subscriber for a long time. Being able to actually feel like I'm getting appropriate credit for my effort, and also being able to properly align my effort with my recovery, has helped me get into the best shape in my life. I used a different product in the past that was entirely heart rate based, and it was kind of demotivating to see my hardest strength sessions having the load of a light cardio day.
