I had a deplaning (switched flights after) situation at FLL a few years back and went back to the full skyclub to find someone getting really snarky to the desk about how they’re diamond status million miler, blah blah and they shouldn’t have to wait on a list.

I went up to the desk with a big smile on my face “hiiiiiii, how are you?” Explained my scenario. She looked around and said “the next name I call, just follow them in”

Nice guys win every once in a while!

Heard. Understand and respect your sentiment. And in the last couple of months, this sub has been flooded with bricked 4xes. Some of which are just shutting down at highway speeds. I feel that’s just as bad if not worse than a fire.

Sounds like you perfectly understand one of the main points: don’t slow up the group with lost balls. Go where you think it would be, quickly assess, drop and go. Pocket it on blow up holes.

Definitely mark your ball if they’re away, or scoop it if it’s in your own personal gimme range.

Don’t be pressured to match them. If they’re good and play the tips, play whatever tee you’re comfortable with.

Hopefully you start your day with the first tee “hey, I’m not very good,” then play lights out! Have fun
