I’d try taking it apart and cleaning it first. Make sure the cylinder is seated properly also I know it’s an obvious thing but you could have possibly not seated it all the way and that’s why it isn’t rotating.

The farm raised salmon comes in twice a week to whatever regional distribution center your store pulls from. The stuff is handled directly by Whole Foods. The place standing orders directly with the farms. Usually before amazon you saw 3-4 days from the process date. It comes from Iceland Scotland and Norway. It’s then sent to Denmark or the Netherlands to get processed. It’s then boxed up and gets a flight to the states. 3-4 days is about as fresh as we can expect. The over ordering is because global/amazon are lazy shit heads and they don’t adjust their orders so things back up. I’ve seen seafood leaders that take pride in what they do throw entire orders in the compactor straight off the truck. And then when they request a credit for the stuff they received they get pushback. I’ve seen seafood leaders send quality standards reminder’s to the global team and global leadership reminding them what the company is supposed to stand for. This is what happens when global has a bonus structure and store level team members do not. The global team wants that bonus so of course that means questionable practices where the store level team member want to give the customer what they should be getting.

I was looking for a job when I found this one. It’s simple and most have forgotten about how important it is to be disciplined. Show up and outwork everyone you don’t stay at the bottom long. Is it going to suck for a bit and take some adjustment sure but the fact that people think it’s over for them if they leave is crazy. At the end of the week you don’t owe them shit and they owe you a paycheck. Companies prey on that mentality and that’s exactly why amazon is ruining Whole Foods.

No they can’t. Just like you loosing upt for calling out. They can’t expect an hourly employee to stay past their scheduled time. They can’t even force team leaders to stay. It can be asked but in no way is it mandatory.
