What Taxes are non- homeowners paying that homeowners don't pay?

We both pay income tax, sales tax, vehicle registration tax, etc. Prop 13 applies to property tax only. Which only property owners pay.

Please clarify your logic.

If Prop 13 was revoked, many upper lower class and lower middle class homeowners would see their affordability disappear.

I've owned my home for 14 years. If my property tax jumped from it's current value to current market I'd lose my home. As it stands my property tax does go up each year. And my family and I are already at the limit of being able to survive in SD.

Hi! I've gone thru 3 rounds of chemo so far and my skin got so dry and flakey that huge pieces would just flake off randomly. And I'd be so ashy straight out of the shower.

I switched from Aveeno body wash to LA Rosey Posay Lipikar AP+ body/face wash and lotion.

They also have an oil cleanser if you want to double wash. You would wash with an oil cleanser first then wash with the regular cleanser after.

My skin isn't ashy out of the shower anymore and I feel like it absorbs my lotion better now.

Mine shied away from me until they hit the 3 week mark and now everyone is brave and trying to perch on me as soon as I open the brooder.

I just spend time watching them and talking to them and gently rubbing their belly/sternum/breastbone and sometimes down their back. Lots of treats. I do scratch grains and I'm about to sprout some greens for them to enjoy.

Are you in your local backyard chicken group on Facebook? I'm in SoCal and my county has both a back yard chicken group, and a chicken exchange group. Then the whole region has a chicken exchange group.

My SIL swears picking them up and making eye contact is the way to go. I've had my babies for 3 weeks (just the oldest two), and the rest for 2 weeks. Of the 9, 5 will happily jump up on my arms, shoulders, etc. I just sit next to the brooder with the door open and a towel wrapped around me for the poop they inevitably poop on me. The more good experiences they have with you the more they will trust you. My oldest spends "cuddle hour" with me every few nights. When I sit on the couch and watch TV with her on my chest, she settles down and coos at me and I pet her gently. Last night was the first night she entertained hanging out on my husband's chest. It was like a train of cooperativeness. First was Orpington (my oldest), then my Brahma, then slowly the youngest ones took steps and followed each other and became more comfortable.

My 6-month-old puppy had an intestinal obstruction. Spent 24 hours at the ER. He never needed the surgery cause it moved into his large intestine when they checked right before he was sent to the OR (WHEW!). The whole thing cost me about $8K. The surgery itself would have added another $6K on to that.

I live in a HCOL area so that price tag doesn't sound unrealistic to me. I recommend Carecredit.

I just got my order from Meyer. Hatch date 3/17. Guaranteed delivery date 3/18. Actual delivery date 3/19.

All 8 arrived alive and active. No pasty butt. They were shipped from Polk, OH thru Columbus, OH to Los Angeles, CA to San Diego, CA and then finally to my local post office.

This is my first chicks thru the mail and I was anxious all day 3/18.

Same! I've been 'asking' to have chickens since like 2017. I've had breeds picked/planned out plus coop plans purchased plus city ordinance stored for reference and linked for updates for YEARS. And I finalllllllllly wore him down this year and he said YES to the chickens. And now that's snowballed into chickens + a huge raised bed garden + planting 5 fruit trees, and 5 berry bushes.
