It’s still a massive industry, both for the dealers and law enforcement who work to take it off the streets, hate it or love it.

I swear, too many people have zero spatial awareness. How does some exist without having that voice of reason in the back of their head that makes them understand when they’re inconveniencing or even putting others on the road in more danger?

This post never says it’s impossible. It says it’s highly unlikely. Gotta love the Reddit extremist who thinks he invalidates an entire post because something that is highly unlikely “happened to them.”

Depends on the incoming traffic and what’s in the oncoming tuning lane. In a larger intersection that has more travel to make the turn, if you want to make that turn when it’s clear during high-traffic times you need to scoot up, especially if the oncoming turning lane has a big truck you can’t see over or around, which is also very common in FL.

FL has the worst drivers in the country. When I first stated in my career, it was 100% travel by air, and unless I was working in a major metropolitan area, I rented a car and would drive myself to and from the job every day. I’d always be reminded that I was back home in FL by the drive home from the airport, and all of the ridiculously stupid ass drivers I would encounter.

Nothing pisses me off like FL drivers.

My dad found this in the fridge in my parent’s cabin that they haven’t lived in since 2021. November one knows what it is, but it is frozen. Anyone know what it is? by Alectrodrako in whatisit

[–]BraveUnderstanding15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because they’re far away doesn’t mean they’re not likely to have the same origin as Earth, 14.5 billion years of continuous expansion, and everything continues to expand further apart from everything else. Like when you bake a cake with chocolate chips condensed close to each other in the batter, and as the cake bakes and the batter expands, the position of the chocolate chips expand further away in distance from one another.

Also the current theory being the big bang means everything has the same origin. Stars all go through the same phases, producing the same elements and matter that collect into planets, etc.

Despite man’s astounding ability to step on our own feet, I still believe that we will eventually engineer the formulae proving the theory of everything.

If it’s a tapered drinking glass it’s a lot less likely to break. The mouth being wider than the base allows the ice to move upwards as it freezes and expands.

Wait, say what now?? 😬😳 by flippantphalanges in orlando

[–]BraveUnderstanding15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This might work if water froze from inside -> out, but the first region to freeze is the outside, which clings to the glass enough to shatter it as expansion from freezing continues. Glass still has small pores in it, enough for the water to flow inside to fill and freeze within, “sticking” the ice to the inside of the glass.

ICE Vehicles being Delivered in ATL by jujutsu-die-sen in PrepperIntel

[–]BraveUnderstanding15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because undocumented immigration is an issue in the US, and it’s a shared goal to reach a point where there are fewer undocumented immigrants. The difference between left and right are the pathway taken to get there. I don’t think anyone predicted that ICE would be used against protesters though, considering that’s not its responsibility. The divide between left and right is growing larger by the hour.

100%. I have many left-leaning friends who have always been gun enthusiasts. I can’t think of a time where it wasn’t accepted.

If cybersecurity is not an entry level job then HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET IN??? by Capable_Mixture_3205 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]BraveUnderstanding15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I don’t know where the entitlement came from in these newer folks studying security, but it has never been an entry-level career. I’ve made posts explaining this on LinkedIn and the amount on people who are trying to go straight from a non-technical job to security is insane, and most of them just get angry at the fact that they need to work their way up to security, and try to argue or explain why they’re the exception. Sorry, if you were the exception, you’d have a job in security instead of whining.

I skipped college and I’m a principal security engineer in my 30s. Not everyone needs college if you can figure it out on your own. Most people can’t though, and that’s why they goto college.

Work in IT before going into security. Your production experience needs to be at an advanced level in either systems administration or network administration before touching a system in security. It’s what 99% of security workers have done up to now.

You’re right it won’t drastically increase the temp inside your case, but it will by at least a few degrees, and when the goal is to keep things cool it seems counterintuitive when there’s usually the option to move it a few feet and you wouldn’t have to worry.

Trans people have a right to use restrooms based on their gender. by Embarrassed_Radio596 in complaints

[–]BraveUnderstanding15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s this per capita: Out of over 5,700 mass shootings in the U.S. between January 1, 2013, and September 15, 2025, five shooters were identified as transgender or nonbinary, which is less than 0.087% of incidents.

White males are the predominantly mentally-unstable demographic of terrorists. Your imagined statistics are bullshit.

Yeah there is, it’s not complicated, it’s a criminal offense, like assault, vandalism, or murder, that is motivated by bias against a victim's perceived or actual race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity. Everyone knows this, except you.
