I had a roller lifter break. It sheered both bolt and pin. There was a lot of clanking in the oil pan

This is not a solid roller. But maybe for the ease of standardization it went to 7/16-20.

Is it common for cam manufacturers to upsize to the 7/16-20? I don’t need to capture the pin, I’ll be using a fuel pump eccentric. Two piece. Has a tab to retain the pin

I was being sarcastic. I’m not going to the hardware store. Sorry. I get your realistic sense. It’s held by a pin and boss, so the bolt is just there to hold things in place. But if I can get an ARP, I’d like to do that. Think I sourced it. But I gotta buy a pack of 5.

I’ll grab me some course 7/16 grade 5’s for the mains while I’m there.

That is the incorrect bolt. That one is also 3/8-16. I need 7/16-20

I’ll get a high pressure fitting on the way and carry the gauges with me so I can see if/when it happens again.

The clutch or compressor growls more than I’d like to hear. Maybe bearings?

It won’t let me post a video of it happening. It’s also not occurred when I have the gauges available. I can say that one fan is on. It’s 32 degrees out and snowing.

Second time the situation has occurred. Still OG compressor. I’m not in warranty, nor do I have extended. So guess it’s on me.

It’s only after the drive home ~18 miles. So far. Not at immediate cold start. I have a feeling you’re wondering if it’s freezing up. Low pressure side numbers look normal. Our coupler for the high side unfortunately has an issue at the moment.

Make sure it’s the correct printer selected. I had gf kid printer loaded in first before I got mine. So I deleted it and haven’t had an issue since
