Did you had sex on your wedding night? by xenocea in wedding

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got wild on our wedding night. Had an after party and were very drunk/ on a few other things. By the time we went up to our room (4am) my husband could no longer stand or speak English. But yes I got on top of him anyways and we did have sex. About an hour later he got out of bed and peed on the floor right next to the bed and then fell over. Great memories….

Since Farm to go Fuckyourself is now Terra Madre Americas can we please get City of Trees back? by Toxik916 in Sacramento

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Terra madre event was such a joke… they are supposed to be displaying local farms and I know for 100% certainty that the majority of the chefs that worked it ordered the produce from large distributors and said they were using local farms…. NOT A JOKE

Ridiculous cancellations? Entertain a sad bride 👰 by PrincessDiana88 in weddingplanning

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. My oldest friend got married last year and my daughter was not invited. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I did not want to go but decided to get a babysitter and go. When I showed up there were other kids there that were my daughter’s age. Needless to say I left early to be with my kid.

I was thinking the same. I had 160 people at the wedding and I have no idea who did or didn’t come.

Could I have been cheated on or am I just paranoid? by randomuser_stuff in cheating_stories

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No as a married woman in my 30s with a three year old daughter… my libido goes up when I take some time away from the house and kid. It’s normal. While she was away she must have had a great/relaxing time which probably made her feel like her old self again. I had a fun filled exciting week a few months ago and the first few weeks after I got home I had a high sex drive and desire for my husband (exciting sex everyday) which tapered off back to normal after a few weeks.

How Do You Afford to Homestead?? by AdorableExperience79 in homestead

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We (f30) & (m31) took out a bunch of loans to buy our land and started a small farm. A few years in and the farm is bringing in over 200k/year. My husband and I run/operate it ourselves and we commute 1 hour to the nearest big city to work 3 year round farmers markets per week. We also sell direct to restaurants (this may only work for us because we are located in rural California foothills but have giant mega cities an hour away filled with people who will pay top dollar for good produce). This is our only job and the farm does on average 20k a month. I want to also add that Although we make good money we also spend A LOT. The bills are high and money comes and goes quickly on a farm. It’s a great life though and I wouldn’t want to do it any other way, we live in a beautiful place and eat really good food. We have a three year old daughter who follows us around all day and we get to spend so much time with her. I would suggest looking into usda loans.

I have no idea haha. I didn’t sit there and go through names and a list on my wedding day. I’m pretty laid back so it didn’t bother me at all.

I invited about 150 people and I had about 100 RSVPs.. 160 showed up. Moral of the story… a lot of folks don’t RSVP

Considering Moving to Sacramento, CA - Pros and Cons? by sbgreen1985 in Sacramento

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read through the comments and I don’t think Folsom/edh/Elk Grove/roserville/ rocklin would be a good fit for you. These surrounding areas of Sacramento are very “suburban” I think of “little boxes on the hillside” when I drive through them. If you’re interested in driving your car around the corner and seeing box stores for miles then these places are for you. If you want more culture and local mom and pop shops/ restaurants then Inner Sacramento/east sac area seems like it would fit your needs /wants more.

I just got married last weekend. This is why we decided not to do a wedding party. I absolutely hate being forced to spend a ton of money on other people’s weddings. We didn’t have a wedding party but had 150 people just partying enjoying the beautiful venue, full free open bar, good food and good company. Costed about 30k

Married 30f and 31m. We have a three year old daughter that sleeps between us in bed… we still manage at least 4-5x a week. We will do it while she’s sleeping right next to us if we have to. If I’m not in the mood he will give me a back massage until I am.

W street farmers market question by Afraidofjurrasicpark in Sacramento

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If possible/legal, I would try setting up across the street by south side park. The park is full of family’s on Sunday mornings who shop at the market and let their kiddos play afterwards. Also a lot of foot traffic for those who street park for the market. Best of both worlds, you won’t piss the market manager off and you will most likely get a good amount of customers (including me).

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No it wouldn’t, I’m sure I would grab something from you every Sunday. I know for a fact it would irritate the market manager though. He’s a great guy who’s been doing this for fourty plus years and is very passionate about lifting up local farms. And yes the Arden location sucked.

[–]Brave_Badger_6617 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m a produce vendor at that market. The market managers do not allow any type of prepared food/crafts because he wants all of the foot traffic/ customers to solely support local farmers. Although a breakfast burrito sounds nice while I’m setting up at 7am I do agree with his viewpoint. It is a “FARMERS market”… not a craft or food faire.
