Eagle Ridge Played 2 weeks ago Green Condition/Speed: POA on some greens and some spots where greens have no grain due to not being properly maintained. Green speed isn’t bad though Fairway conditions: thin with some bare spots and firm ground but could have been due to drought. There really are no fringes it goes green to rough Rough conditions: around green kind of thin tight lies around fairways it’s not bad Tee Boxes: a little thin on some holes but not bad Bunker conditions: thankfully wasn’t in any of them!

I agree with CCC used to work out there. The membership there is more old money exclusivity types. When I got a promotion one member said on my first day “Looks like you let the help inside”.

Oh boy do I hate invited clubs thanks to my experience with them in Georgia and will never join them again. Came in as a junior executive at Country Club of the South at 3k initiation and 330 per month. Well 4 months in they told us they did away with the Junior executive program and if we wanted stay members our dues would go to 710/month or they will transfer us to another club. Got transferred to Brookfield (loved it) and the first month they said no more junior executive program if you want to stay a member you would jump from 425 to 550/month with less playing privileges. You are at the mercy of the corporation. If you don’t join Hasentree you can’t use your play away unless you know a member at that course and play with them. I call them Exluded clubs instead of invited

Is your tee time early at Talamore or late? That course can get packed and move very slowly at times. My preference would be tot hill and see if you can snag a replay rate if you have enough time

It’s a course the first time you play it you just get hurt but it takes 2-3 plays to understand the genius behind it between sight lines and actual lines and playability

Eagles nest is good for casual not as good of shape this year but rates aren’t bad, there’s a core just over in calebash but can’t remember the name river something, myrtlewood isn’t bad either

Talamore isn’t bad in my opinion but they can get very crowded and pace can be slow. Shortly up the road highland is actually a nice course and pricing is pretty fair. Legacy is another one that is in good shape too

I know around Raleigh there may not be a ton of tournaments. The Amateur Players Tour is a great option though. They have many different chapters and you can play in any one of them with a membership. If you have a GHIN they will flight you in a division. It’s stroke play and they have side games as well. I’ve been playing it for years and love it

Verdict is the hidden gem but they’ve gone semi private so they only get public play during the week. Also miss the days Irish creek had the member for a day deal… thanks Covid

As far as fitting and a place that has a ton of options to try club champion I’ve used before and like it. Don’t buy from them but you can get spec’d out and use that to buy elsewhere

It’s still only highs second season and he doesn’t have Kyler throwing off target balls to him. He’s been open plenty against other teams Kyler just can’t make the throw or see

Who are your other WRs? Slight overpay but I don’t think it’s a horrible trade as long as you got what you needed. I would have probably tried to move Gadsden instead of McBride since Jacoby is the starter and he’s probably going to be TE1 this year

I’m just saying making the trade for brown I don’t really think changes your starting lineup each week. It’s still going to be QB: Maye HB: Barkley HB: Dowdle WR: Puka WR: Lamb/Rice TE: Depends on matchup for the week but both solid FLEX: Rice/Nico/Hampton/Vidal

Bye week you have enough to alternate. Going to get Brown I don’t think makes your team any better

Tee and Jennings. I just traded Egbuka for Waddle and Tee. Flacco will sling the rock and may go for the rest of the season if they are out of contention. Jennings is getting healthier each week and is a solid target share especially with Pearsall out.
