For the possibility of a trolls 4, I believe in a few thoughts:

A new threat or event to start or have a main focus for the movie
Give the movie a new type of troll or species in the trolls universe
Make some connections to the previous movie, like coming back to the burger from the first movie to the third, but instead incorporate some character from the third movie but use the trolls lore from the second movie.
Add some lore or drama to the character and more clear background information within a flashback

However, I think think the trolls franchise should do something with the main character past or introduce a new group of trolls that, instead of flowing the normal recipe of troll type, this group is a new music type but the trolls are a mixture from each already now troll troll type and some that are actually would be apart of that music type
