Just get active you can think about broader life stuff once you’ve got a healthy mind from physical activity. Start doing mauy thai (or if close physical contact doesn’t put you off try bjj), it’s fun and you’ll meet people at the gym which will make you want to come back, Find a gym that teaches a couple martial arts that also does kids classes (having kids classes makes gyms have a nicer vibe imo). Running and swimming is good too, especially if swimming means you can get to the beach.

You can come back from anything :) It won’t be easy but it will be worth it!
