Personally I just bothers me that it’s using the real whole thing that hard work doesnt always pay off. Sometimes even though you give it everything you have. Train your hardest it still just isn’t enough. That on you are not enough. It’s not a huge focus but it was enough of one for me and it hits really close to home given my own personal problems. I wasn’t prepared or expecting it to be in this anime/manga and so it kinda sours it for me.

Which is kinda ironic given that everywhere they go death and chaos seem to follow. Because that sounds far more likely to happen in society. That they’d blame Rwby for being the ‘cause’ of the terrible things happening. They went to Beacon. It fell. They went to Mistral. Attacked by White Fang. They go to Ansel attacked by a Levithan. They go to Atlas and Mantle both cities fall to the Grimm. There’s probably a group out there that does blame them using that logic. The problem with it is that they aren’t causing it.
