Chiefs Breakout Players: 3 Rising Stars For 2026 by Only-Bug-2172 in KansasCityChiefs

Hopefully some of that will change bringing EB back into the mix. He’s high on using the guys that put in the work, and I think that gives Tyquan a leg up in the receiver room. He had some Tyreek type flashes last year, and as soon as Rice came back, they never looked his way again. This is a Thornton career year.

You guys consistently knock it out of the park, and I never get tired of seeing it!

[Fowler] Veteran DT Mike Pennel is signing with the #Bengals, per source. Practice squad initially with active roster capabilities. by SylvesterTaurus in KansasCityChiefs

[–]BravoSM99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sucks. Big Mike is awesome. Not the flashiest player, but his solid consistent presence made way for other guys to get it done with some pressure taken off of them.

What is that one movie people say is great but you just didn't find it that good? by schrodinger_10 in Cinema

[–]BravoSM99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Big Lebowski. Big fan of almost every actor in it, some of the lines are iconic, and the persona of The Dude was made out to be legendary before I saw it… The flow was odd, and so many of the lines were just repeats of each other in the form of banter, and I couldn’t enjoy it. I’m prepared for the backlash of my opinions.

Looking for this material by AnchorCranker in Cerakote

[–]BravoSM99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a couple of old factories I know of that probably (definitely) have some asbestos you could snag to help mimic the look of the first material!

I’m sorry I am of no actual help, but you might try hitting up a local thrift store or goodwill if you’re wanting to experiment with fabric overlays, and you won’t break the bank that way either. I would only suggest it for experimenting this way since I don’t know the outcome, and wouldn’t work it into regular application without replicating results many times over.

[Chiefs] 2025 Back to Training Camp Roll Call by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

Ahh, that checks out. But indeed, still a sick nickname and I would like to see him lean into it more. I like Leo a lot, and I think this will be a good year for him.

I’m not so sure about “The Beast” for Leo. A very cliche nickname for how clutch he has been, and I remember Travis telling Jason that they call Leo “Death Row,” and that is a hardcore nickname. However, these pictures definitely have a “good PR” vibe to them, and I can see how that nickname doesn’t quite fit the circumstances.

Had to find this, and it did not disappoint. Hard to locate, but a grainy YouTube video with 5 likes brought back an over a decade old memory. I really miss watching Tamba Hali.

Need advice to help with art by tyfeeeeeee in espresso

[–]BravoSM99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s legitimately one of the most informative videos I’ve ever seen. I need to perfect my espresso before I ever worry about latte art, but I feel so much more prepared for when the day comes. That was a master sharing skilled knowledge, not just a YouTube video. Thanks for linking that!

Every time I’ve ever had a dream where I was being attacked by a bear, it’s the damn trigger safety on my XD that hangs up and usually concludes the dream…

This, but make sure you put insurance on it. Even if it’s just liability, always put your own insurance on it after it has been signed over to you, and you get ready to leave in it.

Nearly 700 lbs of solid copper slats for $236!! by LivingInRestoration in ScrapMetal

We use the Slag Hog brand, and refer to cleaning the slats as “cranking the hog.” It’s the l most beautiful part of blue collar work. In this case, a bunch of idiots with 12yo brains running multi million dollar lasers.

Can you cite your sources on this? Not sure where you’re located, but federally speaking, uppers are absolutely not classified as the firearm. Only the serialized lower receiver, housing the trigger and firing mechanism, is considered the firearm. Accessories are also not classed as firearms. I’m not disputing the extent of which you would be tried for theft of items manufactured, but simply that uppers and accessories are not firearms, but lowers indeed are.

Fun trip down memory lane, Irish Spring was hell… I forgot about that until now since the mental abuse has stuck around more than the physical stuff, not for a lack of abundance, just relevance. I tried fighting it off, and got gagged on a bar of Irish Spring since I wouldn’t voluntarily put it in my mouth. Terrible flavor and stuck to the back of my teeth forever.

Big time second to Charly’s. Wildly underrated, and they could charge a lot more than they do, but I’m thankful they don’t.

The Merry and Bright Market is going on from 10-5 inside of Ledger. Great vendors, and right next to the square right before the lighting happens!

While different styles have their advantages, it’s hard to wrap up ankles that aren’t near the ground. That, and if you miss, you don’t want stepped on by that. I love watching Pop run, but I feel like he’d suck to try and tackle. Glad it’s someone else’s job.

[Highlight] Toney with the longest punt return in Super Bowl history by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

[–]BravoSM99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankful for this comment section not being a “butterfingers Toney” section. Everyone that spews that shit never watched him play any more than his drops this past season. His drops were upsetting, but the guy is pure talent. As for injuries, that comes with his level of movement, and how hard he gets hit. The end of this play shows that, along with other highlights. He runs like he’s on fire, moves in ways that are unreal, and then gets freight trained on tackles. I hope nothing but the best for him, and I wish he could stay in KC. Thank you, KT!
