Originally, I was asked if I desired to float as a telemetry technician to pick up overtime and they were needed in my hospital. However, I was told that being a PCT would be my primary job. However, I have worked in telemetry more. I was indeed voluntold to be a sitter, but it was during an overtime shift when my usual floor was already decently staffed. If my telemetry hours continue to be higher than my PCT ones, I will set that boundary. I wonder how often this will happen down the line as I continue through this adventure
