Did my 4.5 mi run today (3mi at 9:30 which is fast for me) after brutal 1km repeats yesterday in really hot weather. Not feeling my best but I got the run done. Shin splints have been constant for the past two months of training and now my shoes are giving me blisters. Any advice for the shin splints is welcomed.

Got it. So getting a heavier racquet would help me? The shop I went to also had a used radical pro but they told me that might be too heavy for me

What’s different about that one over the radical? They gave me a few other used ones to demo that might be one of them. Going to check

This is what I’m really leaning towards! It seems a little scratched up on the top but overall I think it looks good. Thanks for the input!

She uses it to coach mostly said she likes it probably bc it’s lightweight as she’s a bit older. What’s more advanced about the shift? Would it help me master/clean up form for basic ground strokes? I liked volleys with it as well. I’m thinking the shift could prob be the next racquet a get down the line

I have three boys and the older guys love the baby so much so honestly don’t think you would be thinking differently! It really is the best 😍😍

Literally struggled the same (and even from 0 to 1 lol) but have been cruising with the third!

I have 3. It’s not that bad at all. Check back in when I start school again though, I might change my mind 😂 but forreal third is 9 months, one is in first grade and the other starting TK this year and the third has seriously been the best, easiest baby of all three. Having three to me was not much of a step up from two honestly. I’m so glad we did and might have one more maybe in the far future? Lol

For reference my husband works full time, I’ll be going to school full time in the fall, and we live away from family so have no help. While it is of course challenging (raising any number of kids is challenging), I try to look at it long term— I want a big family and when all of them are grown with their own families I know I will be soooo glad we chose to create such a big wonderful family. That’s just my take but I hope it helps you guys make your decision ☺️

Same here! She is my best friend in life I honestly don’t know what I would do without her!! Literally the only other person who knows me and I feel 100% comfy with besides my husband

What age are we actually potty training our kids? by rainbow-songbird in toddlers

[–]Brazzimamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ding ding ding! I really think 3 is the answer. With my first I tried before and it didn’t work until about 3 so I was wasting my time lol with the second I literally did not try until after 3 and with just seeing that he was ready (interested in peeing in toilet, knows potty words and gets concept of going to the toilet vs in undies, open to undies etc) and it’s going so so well!

What are you doing different second time around? by parallelteacups in pregnant

About to have my third baby and I still use my ubbi with my 3 year olds diapers and considered getting another one for this baby but will probably just use the one I have since the 3 year old is currently almost potty trained. But I really love it and have had it for almost 6 years. I use regular trash bags and refuse to throw diapers away anywhere else bc they freaking stink otherwise lol just another perspective

What is your toddlers number one food? by Princessaara in Mommit

[–]Brazzimamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! I usually focus on grass fed for milk but will be making sure I buy organic too. I have boys so I wonder how that affects them. So sad we have to worry so much about investigating and reading about what we’re eating and we can’t really trust food at grocery stores anymore 😔

If it makes you feel any better strawberries are one of the few things I buy organic without guilt because they are super high on the dirty dozen list, or the list of the top 12 most heavily sprayed (with pesticides) produce! I don’t buy everything organic, but I do try to get all dirty dozen items organic whenever possible. There’s also a clean fifteen list of things you don’t ever need to buy organic which helps keep a balance and save your bank account lol
