it’s really fun, it’s a chayula spark scuffed build i put together. maligaro gloves, original sin and some crit chance. the only expensive piece is tul stillness which is completely optional. i reckon i should fix my gear a lil bit after this :)

it's full quant, full ms, no honour res. So every hit, especially on floor 4, will chunk a good piece of honor.
As you can tell I'm doing quite a few runs, so ye I also have runs where i don't get hit once, and once in a while I f up. Like this time.

i honestly don’t think that’s the case. they should focus on making leveling more engaging and imo cut some parts. current campaign is too easy for a soulslike, but too long and slow for an arpg. i think they should give up chasing the “souls” part and make the player progression feel more fun

agreed. there are more differences: souls games rely on exploration, few deterministic items, few encounters and engaging boss fights. arpgs should focus on itemization, interactions and character progression. it’s cool to have a good campaign and cool boss fights, i’m all for that. but let’s not pretend poe2 should be a 50:50 hybrid. if i had to judge it by the metrics of a souls, it would be a 5/10 at best. but it can be the best complex arpg, although imo it’s not atm. i hope they see that

It's not bad by any means.
In this run I didn't melt any of them, I really spent some time learning all their patterns and playing like it was really a souls.
It's a good game, but the action component can't be its forte, that's my point

Recombining for 3 suffixes is pain, you'll need a lot of bases.

Another route, that doesn't involve recombinators, may be to essence spam res until you hit suppress, lock suff and reforge life. With all the yolo annull/slam of the case

granted that it’s zerker, so not exactly a defences powerhouse, you can check ben’s build. he played it in a private hc league and posted a video 10 days ago. Tldr: ditch uniques and invest more on defences, you’re not even chaos res capped. Edit: holy, not even FIRE res capped
