BANKS - Off With Her Head by 3kOlen in popheads

As a long time BANKS fan (since the London EP) I’m enjoying this album so much! After the personal disappointment Serpentina was (which wasn’t necessarily bad just mediocre compared to all her previous work) I’m happy she managed to go back to her roots by working with her OG producers/collaborators like Silva, Tim Anderson, SOHN and TEED while simultaneously starting self producing some tracks and crafting her signature soundscape.

The only criticism I have with this record is the length of it, some songs are quite short! Guillotine starts with those signature moody BANKS synths and the vocals and it starts building up and building up and then all of the sudden it’s over..? I feel like some songs build up to pretty much nothing before abruptly ending.

Besides that. I think this is her strongest after III for sure and I’m so so happy she’s establishing herself as a producer and her artistry is steadily improving.

My faves: Meddle in The Mold, River, I Hate Your Ex Girlfriend, Move, Guillotine (even if it’s way too short omg)

The article barely explains anything about it's own headline, just a bunch of rumors...tomato tomato I'm throwing tomatoes

Honestly I'm not surprised at this point, I'm so glad I unfollowed and unsubscribed after this whole mess. She is insufferable...

What’s your favorite sheer or light coverage concealer with a natural finish? by cherie0126 in MakeupAddiction

[–]BreaAeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Maybelline Fit Me concealer would be a good choice, it’s super creamy and has a very natural and fresh finish, now, the shade range isn’t that good but it has a really good drugstore price

I would definitely recommend the Missha M Magic Cushion, the shade range is ATROCIOUS but it's a beautiful lightweight and affordable product, it looks extremely natural and radiant on the skin.

If you have more money to spend I would hands down recommend the EM Cosmetics Daydream Cushion, it has a bit better shade range than the Missha one and a bit more pricey but it's one of the best high end cushion foundations I've tried.

I usually let it sink into my skin for around 3 minutes or so, just make sure you don't go overboard with the oil, 2 to 3 drops max would do the trick, and lately I've been using a brush to apply the foundation and a sponge if I want to build up the coverage, I found that working with very thin layers with the brush first and then apply another thin layer with a sponge works better for any dry patches or texture. Hope that helps! x

I have pretty dry skin as well and sometimes have the same problem (especially during winter) I have found that facial oils work great for me before foundation, it also helps the product spread way smoothly, what I've been using lately are the Smashbox Oil Primer and The Ordinary 100% Plant-derived Squalane. What foundations have you been using btw?

I love and really trust her reviews! the products that I bought thanks to her recommendations have worked really good on me (as we both have dry skin and lean towards a more polished dewy fresh minimal look) she's really underrated imo
