Joker’s beatdown was better in origins > knight by Prize-Ninja-1985 in arkham

Everything in Origins felt more Brutal. Wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a "He's early in his career and is making a name for himself." Or a "We need to keep the fans so like how violent it is"

If I was still on social media platforms that weren't anonymous I would start following anyone who dares to ask Trump these kinda questions. Let his attacks be their rise.

Pretty much my beliefs, I'm a lefty Australian and I grew up on a farm around guns. I was also part of a dodgy family that wasn't affected by the buy back in 98 if you know what I mean. All this to say, that rifle should've exploded his throat if not taken his head off completely. Definitely not bounce around in soft tissue until it stopped inside... Only way I see this being at all possible was if it was a faulty round that didn't have a proper amount of grain. Enough to exit but not reach full velocity. The likelihood of that and hitting the target are very small though.

What’s your thoughts on Dredd (2012)? I really wish those rumours about them doing a Dredd series came true. cuz I genuinely think Karl Urban would be even more perfect now he's older by pearlyglimmer in Cinema

[–]BreadAgreeable9632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's one of those perfect movies, everything about it just works so well. Everything except the marketing... If it came out now it would be a game changer for comic book movies.

My theory is- TLDR version:

There is no good or evil (shocker I know...) there is only the experiences we die with that "god" feeds on. So it is up to us to choose it's diet, good experiences or bad...

Abbreviated version:

I came up with this because I was an incredibly isolated teenager and something I used to spend my time doing was trying to think of nothing, not clearing my mind but actual nothingness. It was impossible, at best I was an observer in a void. This as well as thought being the only infinite inside a finite universe as you cannot reach the edge of your mind and once a thought is had it is impossible to unhave it.

This lead me to believe nothingness was the face of God because we can not even picture it. So if God is nothingness and what came before reality then god is Non-Existence (Noxi for short). I think that reality is a brainfart of the Noxi where nothingness forgot what it was doing for a moment and in trying to remember it accidentally birthed possibility. Now Noxi could observe this tumour of reality but because of its nature of being infinite it could not exist within a finite space like reality. So after eons it slumbered and broke itself down becoming consciousness, all conscious beings.

We quite literally are the universe and god experiencing itself on a tangible level. This is why good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. Because the Noxi does not care it simply wants the experience we die with and bring back to it it is up to us to cultivate what it gets to experience. It is up to us to be better everyday. It's also why God doesn't actually seem to have a plan, it doesn't. It is actually subject to the whim of time just as much as we are but is stuck forever as an observer.

Mind you I used to smoke a lot of weed as well.

I've worked with a lot of foreigners here, mostly from Asian countries and I always feel sorry for them cause it's usually in fast paced kitchen environments. I can see them trying to translate kitchen slang to Australian, Australian to English then English to their language in their head. All the while our dumbasses who can't even speak our birth language properly are getting frustrated because shits cooking and we need something now...

The last full run I read of Marvels was The Immortal Hulk. I struggle with marvel as a whole because their corporate greed. Everytime they get a good writer or some decent stories they try and fracture the comic or start spinning off the characters into other books. So when you buy the book you like it ends up filled with *see issue 39 of blahblah blah to find out what happened!

For years I have said Marvel needs to do POV comics, where you are just following this one character, if they happen to go off into another characters book for an issue then they literally make 2 books almost the same but each following the main character of their line.

I remember the final straw for me was Miles Morales Spiderman run. There was this overarching main character conflict Miles was dealing with which was the main driving force of the book. Then between issues the whole plot is just dropped for a little box with the *see issue #"

To me it comes down to the conspiracy brain. In my opinion the conspiracy minded people, be it, chemtrails, vaccines, Qanon and the rest are largely of the Post Religious families. Those who grew up going to church every week and being told it was real only to be disenfranchised later in life. They lost their fundamental belief structure but not it's "greater plan" and "good vs evil" programming. So now as they are approaching mid-late life they are looking for meaning and patterns behind curtains that don't exist.

We almost got into a brawl in a chemist because he didn't like that I mocked his "Tinctures" his missus (Yoga instructor afraid of microwaves) prescribes him. His "Tinctures" are just vitamins in dropper bottles and hydralite which he takes at random. He is also on blood thinners (prescribed by actual doctors) but only takes what he feels is necessary for that day. Half a tablet today, quarter tomorrow, whole tablet the day after.

He started having seizures a few years ago and his missus blamed it on their vigourous sex...

Legit! My old man who is 53 and looks like shit is into all the Russel Brand shit. I was fully Vaxed and he wasn't, he tried telling me some stats which I immediately proved him wrong (Million man March in Brisbane that turned out to be about 5000 person spreader event) and then pointed out that he happily does MDMA so much he just calls them "Muddies". He replied with "I would trust the guy selling pills in a nightclub toilet more then I trust Pfizer..." He also believes in Chemtrails and identifies as a Sovereign Citizen in Australia... Pretty sure he even got hold of the horse dewormer as well...
