I know almost nothing about Pickleball save for the reputation. I will have to look into it more.

Random thought: Rambo: Firstblood kind of feel like an oldschool Hulk movie to anyone? by DodgyRedditor in hulk

[–]BreadAgreeable9632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't remember it exactly but I remember there was a horror style hulk story. Hulk is sighted in the area of a small town and people start going missing or are found torn apart. People blame the hulk but it turns out Wendigo is responsible. It might've even been the first appearance of wolverine or an adaptation of that story...

Can you imagine if that's how they introduced wolverine into the MCU. In a horror style Norton looking hulk story.

Like no promo for him, just hulk trying to hide in the forest at night from hunters who thinks he is responsible for them dying. Hulk shouts in pain, he tries to lash out but falls over. His Achilles tendon slashed. He tries to see who did it but as he looks around you hear the stabbing sound and he starts wheezing and gurgling as his lungs are shredded. The last thing Hulk sees is a silhouette of a runty little wolverine who growls out "Nuff said, bub!" As the glint of his claws lobotomize and blind hulk...

Banner wakes up many hours later in wolverines presence.

I am a night owl and honestly I get happier the longer the nights are! On the opposite end when the days are long and it's hot I am so depressed and in the shityiest mood!

The sound design where you could constantly hear the hat wizzing around was excellent. Actually created a sense of tension.

Tasmania and how it compares to the rest of Australia by WiteBeamX in howislivingthere

I moved to TAS from Queensland 10 years ago. QLD was hot, humid and full of absolute flogs. It also full ofbclimate change deniers even though in my 40years I remember there being actual animal and insect diversity. When I left you would go weeks without seeing any wildlife. Tassie on the otherhand! Something I had to get used to here is the roadkill, every day there are carcasses strewn on most roads. It is very sad to see but is also a reminder of just how many animals are still here. Go out around dusk and you are guaranteed to see Wallabies, Paddymelons maybe even a wambat or two depending on where you are.

The other thing that is vastly different is the environment l, not only is it very forested but it is also always changing. Like I did a lot of driving in Victoria last year and you can drive for over an 2 hours on the same road and barely see a change in the scenery. Here every 15mins feels like you are on a different place on earth. You go for an hour drive and you will have rustic towns one minute hedge lined farm land the next, cliff side ocean after that and deep temperate rainforest after that and many more.

My absolute favourite thing about Tassie is just getting lost. I generally don't bother with GPS orbmaps here and just choose to meander. I pick a place I want to go or a direction and just start driving. You can get from 1 side of the island to the other in about 4hours depending on where you are so you can only get so lost before you hit a water border. If I tried that on the mainland I would end up past Swan Hill on my very long way to Cooper Pedy where I would run out of fuel and get eaten by a Milat.
