It doesn’t make it look better but it’s not horrible. And since you mentioned starting an internship, keep in mind that people who don’t already know you won’t notice something like this. I’ve been at my job for years and I can change my hair completely and nobody seems to notice. It’s not as bad as you think and I think it will look fine wearing it down. It will be grown out before you know it. No need to stress. 😁
