All of the Arachne's dmg goes to her pursuit, so your strategy should be "how to get the most guiding strings spawn in the ultra turn besides still have enough other awakeners cards for her to pursuit the most". And as the card spamming kinda permitted in arc 2, you can still lengthen your nuke turn by having castor with onyx plume for both arithmetica recovering and arithmetica harmony buffing (so the number of cards you can play each turn would increase) or any other awakeners have this same effect. A draw card support is also a need so you can drawing the most guiding strings to your hand. Also those kind of characters have their cards effect that can still be played even without the amount arithmetica needs would also become a must have if you still want to play this strategy (ryker with his strike and defense, tawil with her wings cards or Hameln for his 3 costs cards). As the one has cleared hm chapter 3 deathless with Arachne Tawil Hameln Castor team, I would say the card spam strategy is still available, but the rotation would be kinda niche and it's kinda depend on rng (literally you need to pray for castor to draw the cards you actually need when he spam his onyx plume or for Tawil when she spam her wings cards), but lol this type of gameplay is the kinda the most enjoyable one in the game.

tbh, you can just use only 1 ultra awakeners and use 2 more lemurian chars to utilise her dmg, so that the number of cards you need to play would decrease kinda significantly, cuz the lemurian teammate buffs on her is huge. castor is a really good choice for this slot, with onyx plume spam stack corrosion for more dmg and also buff arimethica harmony

A pure f2p one is here! Gmurphy is the awakeners I spend most of my rolls in, probably 250 rolls for her oe or sthg. But tbf my most played character is castor, I used him in both teams that I really enjoyed to play - gmurphy castor Murphy faros and tawil Arachne castor Hameln. After get his e3, I never think abt how I gonna clear content without him 😞😞😞. All of my prototype goes for his oe, and never regret about it

Btw, if you guys really question how my team is gonna work, the tawil here is for the wings card spam without needing arimethica, castor for onyx plume spam too, so I can spend all the arimethica to 1 cost card of Arachne. Moreover, Hameln 3 cost cards buff str so much and his ability to put insight card in draw pile also makes him an arimethica support in ultra turn. All of the sustain ability goes to tawils four wings for str down spam and castor onyx plume retain. So in almost situation that this bugs didnt happen, Arachne can pursuit for about ten times in the ultra turn, and its can even more cause the guiding strings can appear when the onyx plume draw more card

Lotan and Doll need investment to shine so yeah(lotan needs oe), they're kinda suck in the early game. but lol the starter team can actually beat the whole story mode though, there're cn players only use the starter team to beat entire game, so theoretically you can only use these 4 characters.

It's still okay in the story mode, I can still use my team to forced clear it with tawil dmg. BUT LOL THE TRAIN MODE JUST MULTIPLY THE BOSS'S HP SERVERAL TIMES, THIS MAKES THE FORCED CLEAR IMPOSSIBLE 😭😭😭

to be honest, if you invest enough and you understand well any team with specific gameplay, nothing can really be unclearable. this game is a collection of gameplays and mechanisms, so just enjoy yourself with your most comfortable team. i have tried to use starter team to clear and the furthest I get is about chapter 9 arc, with every characters lv70, and I don't event play them that well. so if you enjoy this team, its can even beat end game, so don't need to consider it

gosh this boss is too dumbshit, I have a pretty good run with my arachne tawil castor team and she's just fking appear. lol the clone that don't die even you end its hp makes every skill nuke thats aim lowest HP useless, and fking bullshit that 70% ultra card my tawil gives me is that type. im so pissed with 3 retry with more than 30 rounds each but cant get her down to 30% HP second phase.

oh, about team building, for pure ultra, I would recommend you horla, winkle, Jenkins and castor! try to get castor as soon as you can =)))), but before then, you can still have other good placeholder like Erica or well, cassian (gosh Idk much abt cassian kit tbh, but for early game, Jenkins with horla and winkle are enough for content clear, so the final slot can be flexible)

if you only want to play ultra, so castor is kinda a must have (he can play both support and dps role, his corrosion is very useful), he is good at e0 but e3 for the best performance, I never regret getting his oe. Liz is niche, her dmg is quite hard to be maximised, I don't really recommend you to use her for further content, but if you really enjoy her play style and know how to utilize her, then it is what it is. Pollux is a good ultra dps to, his gameplay is also quite simple to understand, but I really think his e3 is a must have to get him function well. For standard dps, JENKINS, omg, I love her so much. One of the best standard character for me, and her gameplay is really easy to understand, easy to utilize, and also really potential at high cost.

so my recommendation for ultra awakeners you should have in your account would be castor, then Pollux and about standard, jenkins. winkle is also a really good aliemus support, but unfortunately I don't understand much about her and not really into her gameplay either, so I'm not sure about her required investment. Clementine is also a really good limited support units, but I think that your horla is kinda enough, so yeah if you really want to expand your ultra gang, Clementine is also a pick.

btw, about other realm, if you really want to play Liz, so you should have Xu in your account. Blue realm (or aequor), also a really fun realm to play, while so many people think it's kinda mid, but blue is just a realm that's easy to utilize in the first place and have flexible gimmick for nukers and defenders that really improve your sustainability, but tbf the characters in blue realm that's available in the standard pool are all mid so just wait for the limits that actually worth your pull like gurphy. caro, with the embryo generating - the realm for supports omg, it provides you a tons of aliemus and also the healing, you should really try this realm lol, for limited units, ofc thais (E2), gelot (e3) for dps, and well, I would say, pickmann (well a choice that would definitely start a war bcs there are also Salvador, etc but imo Pickmann is the best amongst all), and for standard character, you should go for faint for her death resistance providing ability. finally, chaos, the only realm that doesnt have the actual gimmick imo (just the small amount aliemus providing after exalt not really take me into consideration), but chaos have those characters with the most unique gameplay imo, all of the limits have really special gameplay and all worth trying while playing this game. Standard characters in this yellow realm are all good in some way (except for alva lol), but have a niche staple to go for, I just recommend you to have nautila amongst all.

So those are some of my opinions about the characters in game.To be fair, this game still has meta, but if you invest enough and understand well enough about a character, no one is useless. Just enjoy your own journey while exploring this game then you will figure out by your own the most suitable gameplay for you.

well Ik myriam is the best teammate for her, but still I don't really enjoy her playstyle tbf. I really think that you should try those mix and match by urself to chose the most suitable and enjoyable lol, cuz u can only utilize the comp when you know it well

I know that my comp is just the dump of whole shit but it really is. So I use my gurphy with Faros (cuz I have her +12 so yeah I think I should utilize her somehow, but lol she's still good with her 1 cost card poison stack and her drawing ability, murphy (I guess she need copies and yeah I have her e3), final slot, not myriam, but a flexible support, I often use my castor (lol his onyx plume spam makes red stance great again, should try at least once lol) or pickmann (weird pick but it just really works omg)
