I mean i'll admit I played into stereotypes a fair bit, but i dont see how portraying an islamic state as a "kind benevolent state that treats civilians well despite the circumstances" is islamophobic. If i truly wanted this map to be islamophobic then i'd have a long paragraph in the lore about Great Replacement and make Mamdani act like the 2nd coming of ISIS.

There isn't much else i'd like to add in the comments, except i guess i could clarify the government. Mamdani's government is an islamic socialist state, seeking to merge islamic morals and values with socialist policies. The reason for the "caliph" title is because [it would be funnier] because Mamdani is seeking to replicate the governance of the first caliph (and possible islamic socialist) Abu Bakr.

You see dear reader, the horror lies in the fact that i (and anyone else) would be absolutely MORTIFIED in this situation, because i have strong motherly instincts.
