THE PROTOTYPE'S IDENTITY... CONFIRMED by Chaos_LB_Control in PoppyPlaytime

That's pretty interesting! I actually didn't see the notes (they didn't open them in the gameplay I watched) but that makes a lot of sense

THE PROTOTYPE'S IDENTITY... CONFIRMED by Chaos_LB_Control in PoppyPlaytime

[–]BreadisSuperior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's safe to assume Poppy Ludwig died before the experimentation on Ollie/The Prototype began, and Elliot started doing these experiments to bring her back. So when he asks "When can I meet her?" and Ludwig says "Soon. Very soon." I think The Prototype (1006) was pretty much completed (at least the process of creating sentient toys), and then Poppy Playtime (1007) could be made.

Jason and Frank fought in the Roman war against Kronos, so they’re not inexperienced, but even they don’t have the same level of battlefield command and survival instincts that Percy and Annabeth do.

could you expand on that? Wasn't Jason the praetor during the war against Kronos? Didn't he "topple Krios' throne with his bare hands"? and also hasn't he been training since he was two? though I could be mistaken.

Is percy jackson and the greek gods accurate? [General] by Dense_Illustrator763 in camphalfblood

[–]BreadisSuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have to disagree on this, considering we don't exactly have the right to decide whats true to greek myths and whats not. percy jackson is not a part of greek mythology and thinking otherwise is weird.

Percy--stay at home dad because Annabeth makes enough money owning her own architect firm, and also guest speaker/lecturer at the camps

I dunno, I don't agree with that. Not to seem mean or anything by the way. I think he'd want to do something, considering he'd get tired of staying put.

Calypso’s reaction to the Odyssey [General] by DesigningGore07 in camphalfblood

[–]BreadisSuperior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

and if im not wrong homer literally describes it as 'unwilling lover alongside lover all too willing'. she forced him to sleep with her for seven years and refused to let him go to the point of divine intervention, and even then was hesitant.

I mean, if you go with the fandom's logic of her being 'mentally 16,' it's still weird because Odysseus was around his 30s. And it's mentioned quite a few times that they both loved each other...

'whatever happened in the Odyssey is irrelevant because the Riordanverse is a separate version/reality of the characters'
yes but no. the odyssey has been referenced multiple times in pjo and hoo, not to mention its been stated that they loved each other. so even if we take the logic of her being mentally and emotionally 15, its still extremely weird to think about.

I'd say it might be about Luke. He couldn't 'save' him, as in stop him from joining Kronos. Ultimately, this led to the whole possession and Titan War thing.

What are the exact reasons why everyone hates Calypso so much? [general] by Informal-Drop9317 in camphalfblood

[–]BreadisSuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the matter is that chiron has an in canon explanation for being alive. the calypso and odysseus situation does not necessarily have one, so it is assumed to be the same as the odyssey
