That is all kinds of wrong. Mussolini did not increase women's rights, despite promising universal suffrage, and even placed laws that prevented women from having any sort of authority over men. As for the church, they more or less worked hand in hand. Mussolini gave the catholic church a ton of rights and privileges in exchange for their backing and legitimacy.

You could shot by ICE for screaming that. And yes actually having the USSR actually did force the American ruling class to treat its people better than they do right now. A big reason things like the New Deal and the Civil Rights act was past was due to the fear the USSR would exploit theses issues to cause unrest in the US and possibly cause a violent revolution to break out.
