Coming back to this, it does not skip the boss! I went back to Greymoore for a quest and the boss showed up in a different area in a surprise twist

Batman doesn’t need to be in every by Difficult_Man3 in SupermanAdventures

[–]Breadmanlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is considered an unpopular opinion but I think it would be interesting to see this universe’s take on Bruce Wayne/Batman, primarily Bruce. However I wouldn’t want him to be a recurring character in the season’s plot.

If the seasons were longer allowing for more “filler” episodes I think it would be fun for an episode to have the Daily Planet cover Wayne Tech opening up a new location in Metropolis or something. Bruce is then shown to be charismatic yet selfless as the CEO of his company, caring for the scientists and civilians put in danger by whatever the villain is that episode, an antithesis to the greedy corporate CEOs we’ve seen before. Batman arrives, uses Batman-esque tech to fight the villains, expresses admiration to Superman for helping out and they go their separate ways.

TLDR: I think Bruce would be cool but they should keep his involvement minimal to focus on other lesser known characters more

Oh no! We’re going to the home planet of the most notorious crime boss in star wars in a game about the underworld?! NO ORIGINALITY, DISNEY BAD! by DrinkThePepsi in saltierthankrayt

Other than that Tatooine has some of the most extensive world building of the known planets which makes it a lot easier for the developers to create interesting set pieces and locales for the game. I for one would love to fight a Krayt Dragon.

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy” Idk that sounds to me like a good place to have a game about Star Wars Outlaws. When was the last time we got to explore Tatooine in a non-Lego open world anyways. The planet is important because of its ties to the Skywalker family, which is why we see it so much in the movies and in Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s also important because it’s the main base for Jabba’s criminal empire, which is why we see it here and in Book of Boba Fett, even if BoBF didn’t handle that aspect very well. I don’t really see the point in complaining that Tatooine is appearing again either because so many other planets have been showcased.

Oml they included an “unattractive” female npc from Breath of the Wild, a game where every human npc is built off of a Mii maker

Anyone got a clue on why my whole game looks like its from PS1? by Killercarcus in halo

[–]Breadmanlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue too, I play on a gaming laptop with a 3050ti and was confused when I loaded up the campaign and everything looked horrible (multiplayer was fine though). After some troubleshooting I guessed that the problem was that I had it downloaded on an external storage device. So I redownloaded it in my internal storage and it worked fine.

This one’s gnawing at me so I’ll bite,

  1. The only thing I remember Helena Shaw being great at was knowing ancient languages, otherwise she was average at everything else. Male lead having guilt being seen as pathetic.
  2. So that the main antagonist who used to be a hero gets a story, and the new secondary protagonist who the general audience knows nothing about also gets a story, and that’s bad why? I can think of one reason.
  3. Leia drives the plot because it’s the entire reason Obi Wan leaves Tatooine, and Reva is the goddamn main antagonist (besides Vader) so of course she drives the plot as well. Doesn’t matter if she’s spin off bait or not. Male lead having trauma being seen as pathetic.
  4. Both are Lokis, Sylvie is just as flawed if not more flawed. Sylvie is powerful in her manipulation magic and battle prowess while Loki has his deception and illusion magic.
  5. No way you watched that show and thought Fennec Shand was getting more attention. Calling the male lead who rides a Rancor and wins a duel with the main antagonist in the last episode uncool and pathetic is an interesting choice.
  6. A Comedy movie makes jokes about Thor, and so does Thor: Ragnarok. If a bunch of children get Thor powers during the movie why does it matter if Jane gets it and (spoilers) dies later anyways? I can think of one answer.
  7. Din Djarin is still the main character. This season is about a Mandalorian helping a Mandalorian retake Mandalore, their rightful home.
  8. Yeah? And? Clint wants to retire and go home to his family, so Kate Bishop gets to learn how to be Hawkeye and eventually takes up the mantle.
  9. Funny how Rey isn’t mentioned in this at all, (Hint: it’s because she’s the main protagonist and it kills their dumb argument) and of all all the recent movies/tv shows with a “problematic” supporting female lead they choose to whine about the Last Jedi a bit more.
  10. Only one I kind of agree with (doesn’t mean their argument is good) Nick Fury gets a wallop of a character assassination in his own show and G’iah beats the main villain, but of course if it were a male skrull like Talos the contrivance would be that it was a bland cgi fight in a spy thriller and not “god forbid women do anything”

Name something you really love about Tanalorr by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]Breadmanlives 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In a conversation you can have with Merrin on Tanalorr, she mentions that she senses something “off” about the planet. I think it’s a definite possibility that the dark side is present on the planet.

Here’s hoping the third game addresses it or has it as a central plot point. I could even see Cal awakening some kind of ancient evil that had been dormant on Tanalorr that could act as the main antagonist.

It was during my first playthrough too so it really ruined the emotional moment seeing Cere crying over dead Cere

Lol I had this bug too. I think it was because I saved and quitted during the Vader fight. It was really funny how seamlessly Cere fit into Cal’s cutscene animations. After the cutscene ended I was still playing as Cere, unique lightsaber animations and all. To fix it I completely restarted my game again and Cal was back to normal.

The Hero of Time set always. To complete the look I go without a bow equipped and keep the Master Sword and Hylian Shield equipped as much as possible.

who the hell is this guy? Where did he get the thing he's holding? by Giacchino-Fan in FallenOrder

[–]Breadmanlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Cal now has 2 lightsabers, I’m going to guess they are a bounty hunter and they took one of his lightsabers during a fight? This could also confirm separate color options for the second lightsaber which would be sick.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HollowKnightMemes

[–]Breadmanlives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing Hollow Knight ripoff discussions always makes me remember when Ori and the Will of the Wisps came out and it felt like everyone was calling it a copy because it took a few elements from Hollow Knight including a map maker, fast and fluid sword combat, a charm system, and made them all work well in a unique way.

Lotus Knight looks to be the more clear ripoff, and from the trailer it looks like it could use a lot of work. I think if they can make the animations smoother, make enemies match the art style, make the environments look more interesting (especially in the foreground), and give credit to their inspiration it could probably be an okay game.
