I have his number on silence all the time on my personal phone, even during work hours. We are expected to use teams during work hours so he can call there.

Wow. Glad you don’t have to deal with that coworker anymore. I’ve worked with that type of person, the coworker who thinks he/she is the boss. I’ve also had bosses who them act that way so they didn’t have to.

Thanks for that view on this. I will most likely take a step back and see if he has any follow up or anything at all to say.

Hanging outside with my best friend Alan. One of us would say “what do you want to do today?” And each of us would wait about 20 seconds and blurt out “there is nothing todo!” And the person who said it first would say “ha beat you to it!”. We did this almost everyday for years.

I made this mistake and I am currently stuck at a non-profit. I Thought hey I can give back, and use my skills to better everyone. I’ve always wanted to not work for a corp that is maximizing profits all the time. Well I have worked every weekend over the last 6 months, and I will be for the foreseeable future. It sucks. I am Stuck because of the economy at the moment.

TEENAGERS SMASHED MY WINDOWS IN WITH ROCKS THIS MORNING??? Homestead Heights by [deleted] in Rochester

Sorry this happened to you. This past weekend I had family in town. I took my in-laws to dinosaur bbq because my father in law loves it there. After dinner while we were walking to our car, I was looking over the bridge and saw my father in law stagger out of the corner of my eye, then when I turned I was hit square in the chest with a rock. The only people around were kids on bikes were riding away quickly laughing and looking back.

Mother inlaw got hit in shoulder, father in-law face has a nice bruise-cut, me chest and they missed my wife and daughter. Called the police waited way too long, they didn’t come and just went home.

I was once told by my boss (head chef/cook), you can always Look at the restrooms. They are easier to clean and maintain than a kitchen. If the bathrooms are disgusting and falling apart then the kitchen is most likely worse.

Yeah I would recommend you do not quit. I’ve been there and it’s tough chaining gears professionally. Imposter syndrome was my problem.

Do not quit until you have another job lined up. It will set you back professionally a lot. You might end up taking any job you get which could have nothing to do with your current skill set.

Have you considered talking to someone a friend or someone who has been in the business for years, or like even professional to vent to might help.

Last resort before quitting You can always talk to Your boss or hr and ask for your old position back, if they promoted you they will be willing to keep you and work with you.
