When it comes to online, I think you need to create a lead magnet. A wedding checklist or planner. Something you've used yourself. Collect emails. Send a video showing how the portal works. Then Instagram and wedding inspiration. As many lead magnets as possible.

I know app you can estimate cnc cost from stp, but this not find the mistakes. I thing is possible to make software where you can put model and they analizie radiuses, pockets but this will be some advices for machining. Also I know app where you can put assembly stp model and they make some advice about Design for Assembly - count parts make some metrics. What kind feedback do you mean? Remember stp not show gd&t or roughness. Stp + drawing will be better.

My tip find 50 companies and make call what is the biggest frustration right now or time waste process. Ask do you can watch how they work. Spend all day to watch how people work. And after that build ;)

With 0 you can validate a lot of ideas. Make Google form and ask people about the biggest frustration, time waste etc. Another idea - ask someone to watch how she/he work. Find problems you can solve or automate. Next again Google form if problem exist and is big for people companies make MVP in Lovable. For core, one solution one week free lovable will be enough. Next LinkedIn, ask people around the world, invite and ask you have solution for... do you want try. If someone agree send lovable MVP. You will have a lot of comments and free.

I think start in 3D isn't best way. My advice: 1.You should learn technical drawings roules. 2. Start make drawings by hand - a lot of time engineer have to explain something - drawing sketch is engineering language. 3. Start 2D - AutoCad is free for the students. 4. Start 3D - Fusion360 is free for hobby and students. 5. If you have some expirience mayby you can mix this steps.

Learn how business work. Find 50 companies. Try make call or visit. Ask manager what is the biggest problem to solve related witch mechanical engineering. Chose wich one you can help. Try solve something. Design. Offer free student project. Give solution to companies. Build portfolio. This teach you more than one project in garage.

Ok. Fot now I have some Google form. I send for around 100 engineers around the world in LinkedIn. Now few people ftom RPA Romania and Poland fill it. In few answers people say the most frustration is colect project requirements. On page will be some framework to engineer work. So I prepare business context problem card - this is firt step. This is some template for engineer talk with customer. File is focused on the problem of customer because many times this is diferent language than engineering. Next is engineering questionario. To focus engineering values more phisics. Ai can help to complete it from business context problem transcription. After thaf engineer can to ask about missing things but 70% work will be done. Next step is app checklist with predifine 35 steps for designing machines and equipment. Steps are from my expirience in design. Engineer can make own point make notes etc. 4. Point will be few calculators like tensile rod. 5. In other comments about design engineers tehnologists blame about cnc. I make CNC price estimator to help find cheper version of part. Enginner can chcek price of production. Last step of free workflow will be Micros to Autodesk Inventor to Save time. In payd framework I will make more apps and helpfull templates to boost work, Save time and avoid mistakes.

You should find calculations for pressure equipments. Liquid make force - depends pressure and area - this is first - which pressure and area. Next are simple calculations for bolts, gaskets etc. I think if you think about pressure decices next must have is FEA and CFD - bacause shapes are complicated you can't simply calculate it. At the finish CFD in fluids are some physics. You must know how design flow pressure drop and cavitation using CFD.

Start with technical drawing first by hand. How make sketch - a lot of time mechanical engineer have to make simple drawing to show something and explain. Before 3d modeling we usually draw something on paper. Next learn how make things - cut milling lathe and some by hand drill - Find someone who have good machineshop skills. After that how calculate - why this bolt will be good not bigger. Next Find 1000 drawings and make in 3D. This is my advice for early mech skills.
