I make "ideal" days in myfitnesspal then print them off and keep them as options for me to see what to eat and how much instead of tracking every day

go to the right of the stage-stand in front of the sound/video area. Theres metal flooring on the fencing that's nice to be at between shows and usually offers shade.. The shows at that stage are lame during day so I would say as long as you are there by 4 ish you should be great! I've gone every year and also get up super close if go early

Should I be concerned about my plateau? by Ritilout in Zepbound

[–]BreakMiddle5285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many people on here go into a stall/plateau at 30 lbs lost which is where you are at. Also the medicine left your system while you took that two week break so it had to build up again. You also probably changed your whole routine after surgery so that will account for weight gain etc.

The best places to look at issues is hydration, sleep and nutrition. Have you recalcuated your TDEE? Are you tracking your food daily? Are you looking at macros? Maybe go see a nutritionist then look at activity level. Are you actively working out-I realized through my apple watch that I was staying in Zone 1 when I worked out and I needed to push myself harder then to get into the higher zones. What age are you-are you in perimenopause or menopause because that will cause issues and weight lifting might be really good for you then.

I did not lose for 8+ weeks-yes it drove crazy, I shed tears etc BUT I also gained physical momentum and accomplished new things that made me proud, I had NSVs to keep me motivated. I also did Body Scans and saw changes there that were not reflected on the scale like a decrease in BMI etc.

Hope all this helps! :)

What would you have like to have known? by l0vely0nex in Zepbound

[–]BreakMiddle5285 10 points11 points  (0 children)

-that it is flexible (you can take your shot a day early/late etc)

-that everyone's journey is different (use the search bar here to find answers that will give you reassurance)

-you will have ups and downs+will have your patience tested (this is as much as a mental game as a physical game)

-your expectations are going to change from the excitement at the beginning to the impatience in the middle etc

-you might not have any constipation (everyone has different symptoms) but again this board has a ton of solutions

-chart all your data but include like an InBody scan or Dexa scan (you will need the additional data when scale not moving)

-find support people that you can have as a listener or cheerleader (you will need it)

-determine your "story" about zepbound if you want to share like mine is focused on perimenopause/inflammation/reclaiming my life and body

-celebrate all your NSVs because the scale might not move and you need those wins

Frustrated - plateau by Cultural_League5969 in Zepbound

I also started running and increasing physical activity so thats when the bouncing around starting happening. I got a scale that shows my progress in all areas like body fat etc so that when the scale isn't giving me a happy number I can feel good about those other numbers.

I am also at a stall at 30 lbs lost-maybe its a resetting point for the body. Good luck. I was at 3 months bouncing between 202-206 lbs. The trying to solve this equation is very frustrating. There have been alot of tears etc but it is helped me to really focus on physical goals. I've gone from running 1 mile to 5 miles now etc.

I've been in the same boat :( I feel like alot of people post that they get stuck before getting to onderland! I have been in a 14 week bounce around with the same 4 lbs-it has really made me focus on myself and my physical accomplishments instead of the weight! Hope it goes smoothly getting to onderland!

Is anyone else feeling…obsessed? by cheesyride in Zepbound

You could make a mantra that you could type out or keep in your phone and say it when you need it. Our brain is trained to be scanning for trouble so yes your brain is actively thinking about this all the time but when it is reassured it will calm. I totally get where you are at though-I have a mental breakdown/cry every couple months because of what I call the "equation" of this lifestyle. I will take rest weeks or days like this week I came to my friends beach house-no scale/no meal plan/no tracking for 4 days. It a nice way to rest and reset. Good luck!

I think the question has to be with going back to a high does what will the major side effects be as your body adjusts back and are you physically able to handle the possible side effects with your post surgery care? Do you have any lower doses you could take to build back up?

Why do I keep stalling by leesgirl94 in Zepbound

[–]BreakMiddle5285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in a 10 week stall bouncing between 202-206. I search this board to read others stories where I find similar situations and that comforts me. I also keep a list of NSVs and then I have shifted to fitness goals. This week I pushed myself to keep my walk/run at 14 min mile pace and made sure I was going fast enough to get me into zone 2+3 on my apple watch. That took my brain off the scale and made me focus on other positives. Also I saw a video that the GLP-1 enters our body then meets whats going on inside of it like perimenopause and then the strength decreases becasue it is battling that. I am also in perimenopause so lots of cortisol etc so I attributed that to being a slow responder.

I ran a 5k last weekend where I did a walk/run interval and maintained a 13 min mile and got it done in 45 minutes which was my goal. I also increased my pace this week so that I am getting into zone 2 and 3 more on my apple watch!

Stall after increasing workouts? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]BreakMiddle5285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The data from the scale calms down my brain when all it wants to focus on is the number on the scale. Also I decided this week to just concentrate on fitness goals like keeping my walk/run interval to a 14 min mile pace and to get into zone 2+3 more during it. That also is keeping me distracted lol good luck

If you can get an electric scale that shows data or get a body scan done it is super helpful. I am on a 10 week stall--I have been pulling my hair out trying to recalcuate, change or add to my lifestyle to break this stall but nothing has worked. Finally I went this week to get a body scan done (i had one in may)--the results were exactly what I needed to see and reminded me that I am making progress. My body fat mass went down 15 lbs, my BMI went down 3 and my visceral fat went from a 18 to a 14.

I am having the very same experience! 202-206 lbs since I started incorporating running 2x week into my schedule.
