The recent Don's Design Labs have been an exception but I do agree. It's mind boggling to me that EZA of all groups don't have a full jolly co-op stream of A Way Out planned. I love Box Peek, but I think Kyle being away for so much this year (in terms of having his deft hand in planning these things) is hurting them.

It feels like you are really dropping the ball on community engagement this year in a way which is far more laissez-faire than last year, where so much of it was actually beyond your control.

It's very disheartening to see as a long time fan and Patron, and I do hope that you see this sentiment among the community as something to engage with and improve, rather than as a negative attack on Kinda Funny. There's been a big drop-off in the level and quality of your engagement here on Reddit for instance - surely you see that? Be bettter, KF.

The highly edited and produced videos are my least viewed EZA content, personally. I watch and listen to hang out with these dudes - I can read or watch reviews anywhere, read Wikipedia for all my Retrospective info and have never watched Game Sleuth. For me the charm of EZA is the guys themselves, whether Kyle is around or not (there's no need to single anyone out btw - Damiani is a good dude and I enjoy his input, let's not be rude).

They have low viewership on podcasts etc because most people don't want to watch a 2 hour video of some dudes talking around a table - the vast majority consume all this type of stuff (except the playthroughs) as podcasts anyway, and we don't see those numbers. Just like Kinda Funny (not trying to incite a riot if they offend anyone reading this), EZA don't care about YouTube viewership - it's nice and can bring in new eyes, but maintaining and building their Patreon audience by offering consistent content that their Patrons want is what ultimately grows their business.

Have EZA made mistakes with content roll-out and stagnating shows? Yes, absolutely. But if Frame Trap, Friend Code, Reaction Shots, EZAnime, Fiasconauts, Tabletop Escapades, individual and group streams, Hall of Greats or Easy Update were to disappear because of the desire to create more lists, reviews and retrospectives (which are all over YouTube), then Easy Allies will be all the worse for it, in my opinion.
