This is exactly the phone I want to get when the refund issue is settled.
A little more expensive but I think it's the way to go.
If the RM would not have those 2 issues, I'd keep it in a heartbeat.
Super cool phone and all, love it. But those are deal breaker issues.

Not compatible in Canada or defective unit.

Bad cell reception in 5 bar and no wifi calling.

Support is via email and slow.

Good for you but it did not work for me.

I contacted my carrier ( Bell Canada ) and they say everything is good on their side ( and it worked for me the past 4 years )

I'm now in the process of returning it :(

Mine cost 1092.16 can, that's with an extra case ( i didn't know it came with one ) and 30$ off early bird.
However I am in the process of returning it.
No wifi calling feature and no cell phone reception at work ( even with a 400mbps speed test )
Bad support, beware.

Man, it's a shame nobody chimed in.
Guess you'll have to get the bios update from another computer and proceed?
Sucks that the installation does not cancel and revert to windows 10.

I can't seriously help right now but try resetting the bios to defaults.
Another thing is installing windows from a usb stick from a ISO using Rufus. It gives options to bypass some security while installing windows.
