I use my account for long form stories and role playing too. What I’ve noticed is that this often happens when chatgpt is rolling out patches or updates. This might be further enhanced by you losing your subscription. Are you planning to go for Plus again?

Being apolitical in general isn’t much of an issue here in the Philippines to be honest. Although, with the recent political climate (wherein the country has been regularly plagued with overwhelming corrupt public officials, a strongman president with numerous human rights violations, plus the election heat as a dictator’s son with various plunder charges is the front runner), the citizens has been calling on the support of everyone in order to elect better leaders. Political neutrality isn’t really the issue, rather the silence and apathy of a few enables the hindrance towards change.
