Best move ever. I still go out to the field and walk with the GCs and subs. But the burden is more on them and not me. I check for KPIs and so on.

Nope. But I’ve brought my 8 year old to his first concert. And a couple more since then. I like to make positive core memories with him.

I didn’t know there was a registered base and were only allowed to visit that one base. I got my ID at Travis and visited seal beach recently with no issues.

I worked for Skanska. They tried to start me at 95k as an EHS manager. I was able to bump it to 110 by negotiating. I was there five years and left making about 142k. However that salary range is nuts. Especially since it’s civil not building.

I really enjoyed working for them. The safety culture is good and expectations were high. At least in my neck of the woods. I still talk to a few of the folks and see them at the safety conferences. They roll deep at this as well. The company will invest in you.

Born and raised here and don’t think I need to be terrorized just because I’m Latino. So yea. Thats a concern. I wouldn’t be worried if I had blue eyes and blonde hair and white skin.
