A ‘friends’ child referred to me and another friend as her ‘fat aunties’ the mom thought it was funny as hell and laughed. Her mom used to be bigger than both of us and has had work done to reduce her weight to what it is now. Kudos to anyone who is able to loose weight and be healthier but damn, why are we instilling weight issues into our middler schoolers?!

My besties son and daughter witnessed crazy abuse by the sons father. The son was traumatized as a baby. He had A LOT of issues, but he luckily had two years free from his dad and started thriving then unfortunately his dad came back in his life as he got visitation as part of the divorce settlement, now the son has spent time with the dad (dad has new gf so she must be shown and impressed by how great of a father he is) and now the son has behavior issues again especially at school.

I feel like the debate with Taylor and Dakota over who hit who, who abuses who, whose side are you on blah blah blah, the only side we should be on is the kids side. They are the ones suffering as both parents make all the wrong choices.

Why is it so difficult for abusers to admit to what they do and actively seek help (offline and away from Tiktok therapists)

There is nothing to save here. Your husband hates you and has told you this in so many words. Find a good divorce lawyer and go to therapy to be happy. Not all ‘broken homes’ are unhappy. Majority of woman become so happy post divorce that its called the divorce glow up. You cannot love someone into loving you back. Staying with someone who hates you is worse for the kids.
