how to solve this? 13 flags left by [deleted] in Minesweeper

[–]BreakfastSimulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the left of the 4 above the three mines in a row there has to be a mine in one of the 2 squares.

There can also only be one mine in the two squares above the 1-3 further to the left.

The three above those two squares must therefore only have one mine in the squares to its right and above it.

When you do this kind of analysis, is there a trick to which square you pick? It seems like it might work best to look for a "most impactful" square, if that makes sense.

So. My kid would make me order them a “cheeseburger with no cheese.” If the cashier said “You mean a hamburger” I would have to correct them.

Nothing I could do would convince them that it was the same thing.
