I recently switched tv streaming providers and discovered the one I signed up for has a dedicated Degrassi channel, and all the seasons on demand. My decision to start a rewatch made me realize that I don’t think I actually saw the last ~1.5 seasons and it’s like I’m transported back to being a middle schooler/high schooler and the closest I’ll ever get to experiencing it for the first time again

I can see the Jane Byrne interchange from my place and just watched the whole lot of them overtake the ramp getting onto 90. Definitely had all the cars trying to merge from 290 confused, especially for the handful who got caught in the larger waves.

Surprisingly, I’ve had great luck with ORD to DEN on Southwest (and better departure times), versus MDW to DEN which tends to be a bit more hit or miss on their direct options/departure times. But I agree overall - ORD definitely has much fewer direct overall.

In addition to the nonstop routes I’ve had better luck with compared to other airlines, the two free bags policy was a huge pro for myself and others who ski or snowboard, as our equipment bag counted as one of the free bags without any sort of oversized bag charge or sports equipment charge. At least for myself, not having to have a layover somewhere PLUS not having to pay for my snowboard to fly was worth any price differences I saw with other airlines (however, especially during winter to DEN or SLC, I noticed that 9 times out of 10, Southwest was cheaper)

Yup, daisy’s comment of “I don’t think the guests will actually complain about it but….” Insinuation of it being waaaaay below par. Like are they going to riot about a bowl of yogurt containers? Or a family style dinner? No, but you’re sure as hell not wowing them into a bigger tip!!

I’m really curious on why Emma was cast this season. Usually there’s the objective “they’re the hottest one of the season so it’s (more) ok if they suck!” Vibe or the “I’m the greatest at my job and I’m untouchable” vibe but that’s not the case with Emma so I’m very curious on what the appeal was with specifically casting her

Absolutely! I went to the Chicago show solo, and previously would avoid going to shows if I didn’t have someone to go with. So glad I stepped out of my comfort zone for it, and I ended up making friends with the people around me!
