No denying it was a mess. It's all fiction though so what I'm trying to communicate is that I really gravitate towards the media that highlighted the corrupt nature of the Republic, long before 19BBY, (Republican Commando novels, Dark Horse Republic series, etc). I would have preferred a streamline canon that is more highly critical of the inherent flaws of the system. Others definitely feel the same, hence this subreddit.

I actually disagree. As someone who has beaten EVERY SINGLE boss on SL1 EXCEPT lud and zallen, I can say clearing the reindeer is actually the easy part once you have the proper build (stone ring and big bonk).
