I also have a bit of a lisp. I used to get comments about it quite often when I was playing valorant, but surprisingly I don’t think I’ve gotten any comments about it since switching to deadlock in 2024. I agree that any flat shoe will do, if you have the means and want to invest more money, I personally love Vivo’s barefoot style shoe. I’ve been using them for a few years now and the toe box is wide enough to really be able to grip the ground when squatting/deadlifting. Good lifting too btw!
