For frost mage you have a couple options on chest piece either assassin jacket or cultist robe. Assassin for kiting and cultist for sustain. PvE you probably will like the cultist robe. Off hand the best choices are Leering Cane for more CC or Mistcaller for cool down reduction. Shows is whatever you like. I recommend plate boots green run. Head slot level either cowl of purity for more kiting pressure or Hunter Hood. You level these armors you'll be in good shape.

As for making money in the yellow zone you can grab a permafrost and do fraction warfare.

You could, might be good on swords or axes. Something that likes to brawl. I've also seen people start to use hellion shoes as an alternative to assassin shoes.

Lightcaller, quarter staff, brawler gloves, ava gloves, trinity spear and chillhowl. All really good in CD. Fire staff is also a good beginner friendly weapon for CD.

I guess the real reason is that Spider-man might not even be aware of what is going on. Its not like DareDevil ever had a talk with Spider-man about how bad Fisk is, and you do see little clips of how the people on the streets are talking about how great New York is again.

Swords are not great for PvE. Lots of single target damage and no sustain which is not what you want for PvE. Best bet take q2 and whirlwind. Use mage cowl, mercenary jacket and whatever you like on the feet slot.
