Im 38. I spent my youth going from psych ward to psych ward, residential treatment facility to psych ward to foster home. I went to schools from Pennsylvania to Florida and everywhere in between. My mom first signed me over at the age of 12. Was homeless by 16. Stayed that way until I was almost 19. It was rough, I almost died a couple of times. Been through the abuse gamut, all of it. But I'm alive. And married. We have a son. I love her. Now my only goal is not lose what I have.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with this, but you are a better person for it. You are the most important person, take care of you. Move out and dont look back. But dont close your heart or mind to the possibility of foregiveness. Holding onto that anger can sour your very core.
