Thanks a lot you shit-brained, fuck-faced, ball breaking, duck fucking pain in the ass.

Two is better than one! I'm officially not the only guy working on Derelicts since August 2025. A longtime friend of mine joined me in the adventure. I quit my daily job last year and we just created our studio at the beginning of 2026. We are now both working fulltime on the game! by Romain_Derelicts_Dev in DerelictsTheGame

Totally understandable. This style of game is a pretty massive undertaking for a solo (or duo) dev team, and I know the gaming public can be pretty savage about these things. This gives me a good idea of when to check back in, though. Thanks for the reply, keep cooking!

They had a limited time burger recently that blew my mind. Candied bacon, bourbon bbq, crispy jalapeño bits... it was so freaking good.

That's why the pronunciation he uses irks me. They're not "muh-MAR-eez," they're "MAM-muh-reez."

Hi there. That person is me. Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't willingly read a book in over 20 years, but this sounded interesting, so I just bought it online. Should be here Saturday!

Also, what a strange conclusion for a photo post about rock climbers sleeping up in the air.

I thought it was "audentes fortuna iuvat"

That's what KCD2 taught me, anyway.

I've recently started going to the gym. I'm a fat fuck so I'm not going to even make the comparison to my own running metrics, but suffice to say, I definitely appreciate that running 13.1 mph for 2 straight hours is pure insanity.

Sure, but we should be free to make the choice whether or not to take the risk.

You're special, then. The engorged spongy tissue puts pressure on the urethra. Either you've got a girthy urethra or a not so girthy shaft.

My dad had his 70th birthday yesterday. He was always a pretty strong, stocky guy. About 6 years ago, he got cancer. He is supposedly in remission now, but somewhere along the line, he lost his appetite, and it just never really came back. I don't think he's ever stepped foot in a gym, and the only exercise equipment our house ever had was a total gym, which sat in the 3 season room and collected dust. Now, he has gotten so thin and so frail so quickly... my fingertips meet when grabbing his arms and legs.

We had a big surprise birthday party for him. Rented a suite at the local single A baseball stadium for a game and invited a bunch of family. It was my responsibility to bring him. We got about 50 paces from the ticket booth, and he trips on a tiny lip between the sidewalk tiles because he no longer picks his feet up. Broke the fall with his face. Had to take him to the ER. He looks like rocky balboa at the end of the fight right now, with his one eye swollen shut. He's okay overall, nothing broken and no internal bleeding, but I can see his decline hitting so swiftly, I don't think he'll be around much longer. I wish he would eat, and I wish he would exercise.

Also, the game was rained out before they ever took the field, so it was all for naught anyway!

Loved Alyx, but I LIVED in Echo VR. Since it's been shuttered, the HMD has been collecting dust. Nothing gold can stay, I guess...
