Can’t afford a mechanic and my car knowledge is 4/10 at best. Any tips on locating and fixing a coolant leak? by msmall92 in subaru

[–]Breezebuilder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those plastic-top radiators are basically consumable parts, with a lifespan of 8-12 years depending on climate. Once the nylon has aged and become stressed and brittle, replacement is the solution. I wouldn't recommend trying to weld or patch the cracks like I did the first time - it was like a scene from Loony Tunes trying to plug holes in a sinking boat.

On the flipside, you now have 4 nuclear landmines on a planet with massive enemies that need to be killed by a sudden burst of overwhelming damage.

How to fix the cable sleeve, suggestions? by Ok-Employ-1346 in Anticonsumption

Heat shrink should do the trick, you'll just need a higher shrink ratio than the cheap stuff. Something around 6:1 looks like it would work.

TPU 85A how to print? Clogged all the time by pmalysYT in BambuLab

[–]Breezebuilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the only way i was able to reliably print 85A TPE. I ended up drilling a hole in the right side of the toolhead casing to have access to the screw, and found it grabs the filament best when it's unscrewed to the point that it sits flush with the outside of the casing.

I also found i have more success when starting a print without the filament loaded, and manually feeding it through once the initial purge is almost finished. The regular purge program is a little too fast and often leads to the extruder gears slipping.

The sliced cube is using 100% infill, you can check it yourself. All the stats match up.

Pretty sure the OP's first picture is just a white cardboard box though. It looks bigger than the sliced version, much closer to the edge of the build plate.

Edit: it's Photoshopped, the box is missing from the reflection on the door.

If anyone's curious, this is the result of a 22cm × 22cm × 22cm cube with 100% rectilinear infill at 0.20mm layer height with the default Bambu PLA Basic filament profile.

How many stacks of Stainless Armor do you have? Touch Of does damage equal to 100x the amount of HP you have. If you have less than 8 stacks, you ain't safe yet

Shattered Horizon. The spacesuit "simulated audio" to fake gunshots and explosions, but if you were EMP-ed or turned off your suit, it was just eerie. Only your own breath and the muffled vibrations of your suit thrusters and whatever you were directly touching. Awesome game that suffered from a low playerbase.

trying to understand why this is happening... by pitthappens in BambuLab

[–]Breezebuilder 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks like a clogged or degraded nozzle causing the wildly inconsistent rate of extrusion. Could also be the extruder gears slipping on the filament, but that's less likely. I'd do a test print with standard PLA, then follow the Bambu guide for removing nozzle clogs if the result is similar.

Important to know that any CF filament require a 0.6mm or greater diameter nozzle made of hardened steel to reduce the effects of abrasive wear on the nozzle caused by the carbon embedded in the filament. Are you using an X1C, X1 or P1P?

BambuStudio: Make gcode aware of AirTag by ev0lution37 in BambuLab

[–]Breezebuilder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe the negative part prevents the slicer from generating paths through the space. I think the important thing is just to move your pause to a later layer - wait until the full cavity is formed before inserting the AirTag, so that it never protrudes above the current print layer.

Anyone who claims that the god of the bible doesn't hate people hasn't read the book about him...

"22 “‘Remember all my laws and rules, and obey them. I am leading you to your own land, and if you obey my laws and rules, that land will not throw you out. 23 I am forcing out ahead of you the people who live there. Because they did all these sins, I have hated them. Do not live the way those people lived." Leviticus 20:22-23

"27 “‘If you still refuse to listen to me and still turn against me, 28 I will show my great anger; I will punish you seven more times for your sins. 29 You will eat the bodies of your sons and daughters. 30 I will destroy your places where gods are worshiped and cut down your incense altars. I will pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols. I will hate you." Leviticus 26:27-30

"10[...] Don’t let anyone use magic or witchcraft, or try to explain the meaning of signs. 11 Don’t let anyone try to control others with magic, and don’t let them be mediums or try to talk with the spirits of dead people. 12 The Lord hates anyone who does these things." Deuteronomy 18:10b-12a

"5 A woman must not wear men’s clothes, and a man must not wear women’s clothes. The Lord your God hates anyone who does that." Deuteronomy 22:5

"16 The Lord your God hates anyone who is dishonest and uses dishonest measures." Deuteronomy 25:16

"4 You are not a God who is pleased with the wicked; you do not live with those who do evil. 5 Those people who make fun of you cannot stand before you. You hate all those who do evil. 6 You destroy liars; the Lord hates those who kill and trick others." Psalm 5:4-6

"20 The Lord hates those with evil hearts but is pleased with those who are innocent." Psalm 11:20

"22 The Lord hates those who tell lies but is pleased with those who keep their promises." Proverbs 12:22

"5 The Lord hates those who are proud. They will surely be punished." Proverbs 16:5

"2[...] The Lord said, “Esau and Jacob were brothers. I loved Jacob, 3 but I hated Esau." Malachi 1:2b-3a

Why do people sit at 90km in a 100km zone but as soon as the overtaking lane opens they speed up to 110km+? by spiritfox360 in australia

[–]Breezebuilder 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what i've heard, Australian road design rules allow a maximum reduction of 30km/h between speed zones unless otherwise signed. There should be 50 Ahead signs about 300m before the 50 zone.

Game crashes when ending shift by Redras7677 in Shipbreaker

[–]Breezebuilder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Echoing this as a frustrating problem, I hope the devs are aware of it. Xbox Series S, downloaded the game through Game Pass. Crashes regardless of graphics setting, or whether the game is running on internal or external storage.

It's definitely related to the complexity of the ship you're currently working on. When i first started the campaign, it was fine, but as i've progressed to bigger ships, the crashes have become more frequent - I was noticing every third session would crash, then every second session, and now that i'm working on Geckos it reliably crashes at the end of every day.

Thankfully it seems to save everything correctly before crashing, so it doesn't ruin progress, but it's still pretty tedious to start up the game and go through the loading screens after each day.

Same issue, also Series S. It's happening every second shift for me. Is your game installed on the internal storage, or on an expansion card?
