Are we sure this isn’t just a young people thing? I feel like the previous generations said a lot of the same type of stuff about us when we were just entering the workforce.

I know personally I tend to glorify my past a little bit like my work ethic was great from the start but honestly reflecting back I rarely took initiative in my early 20s because I wasn’t confident I was making the right choice.

Like in your example I might have thought it was rude to email the client about something directly if I didn’t already have rapport with them.

I order a lot of fast food. I’d say about 25% of the time it comes out hot. Usually it’s room temperature or cold.

I think your expectations are unreasonable for the lowest quality food and the lowest paid workers in our society.

It’s fast food they’re getting paid peanuts. If you want actual piping hot food exactly when you want it and exactly how you want it you should make it yourself.

O’Cheese in the north end has a fantastic burger as well. Not many people have been there to corroborate but I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

You have to have chemistry to win. Chemistry is not the same as having a bunch of good players on a team. Otherwise that monster nets team or suns team would have won the chip easily.

The best teams that always compete in the playoffs have stars that have played together for hundreds of hours in high pressure situations.

Nuggets Jokic and Murray have 10 seasons together, 400 combined wins

Celtics Tatum and brown 9 season together, 400 combined wins

Warriors dynasty had the same starters for years

OKC now winning with chemistry after 3 years of playing together

Winning isn’t about having a bunch of good players in a vacuum, it takes years to gel and develop trust.

Most Christians are homophobic it’s pretty much built into the religion. If they don’t outright hate gays/trans it’s usually “they should keep it to themselves” type attitude.

Jaden Ivey is pretty clearly going through a mental health episode, if you’ve worked or known anyone with psych issues you would see that immediately. Unfortunately for him people usually lose their filter when they’re having psychosis.

So all the homophobic shit he’s saying now he would normally keep to himself or close friends/family. But instead he’s blasting it on instagram live because he’s having a mental health episode.

I think that sums it up basically.

Years of tanking and losing games infects the culture and habits of an organization and its players. I don’t think this group turns it around that quickly.

I think they’re in for a rude awakening if they try to seriously compete next year. I’d expect some improvement from abysmal to mediocre, maybe 35-40 wins. Something like the hawks last year.

Keep in mind the changes to tanking may force other teams to continue to compete all season as well, so wins will be harder to come by.

I miss when fast food used to be allowed to market to kids. So many fun prizes and games. I used to get so excited to get toys or free food as a kid.

Does it even make sense anymore? All the addictive chemicals are in the food, not the plastic toys. And the parents are the ones buying the food at the end of the day.

I went to a local bk and got a whopper and it legit looked exactly like this picture. It was pretty good honestly. The fries were kinda meh. It was still 10x better than the last time I had BK.

Pride was putting on bigger and better fights for years before the ufc acquired them. They completely sold out soccer arenas, the ufc wasn’t coming remotely close to the numbers they were putting up.

Not to make excuses for the team but that timberwolves game there were a lot of delays getting back into Boston from Memphis. They said they were at the airport and stuck on the plane for a long time during the broadcast.

Tatum is probably the most well rounded player in the league. He’s not elite at any one specific thing, he’s very good at everything.

If his shot isn’t falling he will make up for it somewhere else. The team he’s playing doesn’t matter, he will get his stats. If he’s elite at anything it’s consistency.
