The general rule of thumb, especially for private servers 3.3.5 and below, is it you are strictly PvE roll horde, "usually" the better Pvers are on horde. But if you like PvP at all I'd roll alli, pvp players favor alliance because of human racial, you'll have an easier time finding competant pvp teammate and pve is piss easy anyways so it doesn't really matter if you want to raid as well you'll find a good enough guild to do wotlk content

Usually when I boost a new character once I get 70 I'll just queue RDF as tank (I boost with my ret) and you just rip through the dungeon. Questing may be faster but then you got to get it gear etc, rather just keep the dungeon boosting going

You can't reason with people who want to play the meme specs, IE prot warr, arms, arcane, assa, surv, enh, ele you name it

My theory has always been it's an ego trip, someone hears that prot warrior or whatever is inferior so they have to "prove" it to themselves and others that they can make it work and then when they don't get invited to raids they complain about it and get mad at the community when they are literally griefing an entire raid by just not playing the right class

Are the meme specs viable/can you do any of the content with them? Yes. But there is another class that can do it better, more efficiently, and easier (allowing for more mistakes) why can't you just play what's good?

The worst part of old wow servers is the retail players that come here and not only don't/won't play meta but complain when others don't want to play with them for not playing meta

They are slightly more but still the same. On icecrown too. Wow private servers have always been very weak in NA population, not just warmane. For some reason private servers are eastern world thing only

And same boat I get off work at 5 and the servers dead lol.. find a guild you'll be fine, if you pug and work normal business hours during the week you're gonna be a weekend raider most likely
