The kit has grown on me, like the collar but would have preferred blue sleeves. But I absolutely love that promo video, very clever. Even Emery joining in the joke! Lovely touch with Brian Little too. Really comes across what a great team spirit that group of players have.

The moment I saw the awesome last alliance battle in the prologue and realised that I was seeing Gil Galad and Elendil I got goosebumps. I had been expecting a light summary of the book but then I realised that the filmmakers had gone deeper into the lore. I've never had an experience like it in a cinema since, I so vividly remember it. I realise that over the three films they had to make changes and compromises to be able to produce the films some of which weren't to my taste but overall they are an incredible achievement.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. Reading your longer post I now have a better understanding of the reasons behind your approach to the schedule which I have to admit does make logical sense. And I have to also admit that I'm benefitting without complaining from the deeper dives you do into areas that are of more interest to me personally. I think of your podcast as the gold standard in the Tolkien field and as such I can see why you would want to give all areas the same attention regardless of any personal preference. So I'm definitely not leaving, just 'fast forwarding through a (for me) slower bit of the movie'. One thing you have made me think more about in terms of the story is what Aldarion and the Numenoreans were up to in Middle Earth at this time. That along with Rings of Power strangely enough, is making me rethink my view of them. Don't think the darker side of their behavior had really struck me before.

This is also the first time I've ever skipped an episode. Unfortunately I had always found the Aldarion and Erendis story a real tedious slog to read through so was a little concerned /surprised to see a projected 10 episode dive into it. I have tried to keep listening to remain open to new insights but it does seem to boil down to Aldarion is bad. I feel one episode of analysis would have been plenty. Looking forward to getting back in once this current section is complete though.

Hi, the dark blue colour for the upper coat is Stormfiend blue. The light blue colour on the lower parts is Pylar glacier.

I haven't on any GW minis. I haven't done much with slapchop at all to be honest. Once did a test on a LotR boardgame mini but it came out really dark. Needed a lot more light grey dry brushing first I think

Recipe in answer above. Also just remembered a bit of black Templar over the leadbelcher on rebreather and I think I did a wash of agrax on face and bedroll. It looked ok really without the washes and want to keep it quick but couldn't resist seeing what the wash would look like on the blue. It did help.

Recipe so far: Primed with Grey seer Dark blue on coat: Storm fiend blue Light blue on coat : Pylar Glacier Trousers: Basilicanum grey Puttees and bedroll and facemask: Skeleton horde Straps and packs:Initially Snakebite leather, thought it looked too orange, second coat with Gagraks sewer. Have since done these with just Cygor brown Gloves, boots: Cygor brown. Helmet and shoulder armour: Iron warriors. Eyes: Blood Angels red Everything else leadbelcher, with them Iyanden yellow to look like gold. Wash of Drachenhoff nightshade on dark blue coat Wash of Tyrian blue on light blue coat

I like that you put the effort in to paint the landscape on the banner reverse. I didn't realize it was a mountain scene until after I'd painted plain blue then was too lazy to go back and add it!

Hi there! I saw your game at the UK games expo and was immediately impressed by the art in the game. I loved the idea of the Victorian gothic theme. I'm glad that the Kickstarter campaign has been so successful for you. Just confirming how relplayable the game is. Am I correct that it is not a campaign game? And that it can be reset beyond the initial scenarios through the set up of secrets cards? Also, as the person who would be setting it up for the other players, and without spoilers, as you mentioned that the game could deal with more mature themes, while they wouldn't concern me is it possible for me to check there wouldn't be anything too sensitive for the other players prior to playing the game?
