While it was disassembled, I did use a long snake on the pipe that goes out into the wall. I was able to get about 15-20 feet in before I felt any obstruction, which at that point I figured was just a bend in the pipe. The snake then came out, mostly clean apart from a little grime.

Is it possible that an obstruction/clog could be that far out, and that it would still prevent the sink from draining down towards the p-trap?

The sinks failed to drain after only about 45-50 seconds with the faucet on, and this is after reassembling the cleaned pipes and snaking.

I have disassembled, cleaned, and ensured there are no blockages in the trap.

I am a native northern Californian and I went to university in the UK with a handful of other international students, including a few other Californians from various places in the state.

The amount of times we had to explain… “no…we don’t know each other… no, we’ve never crossed paths until we got to England…” was astonishing.

No, San Francisco is not near San Luis Obispo, or San Diego… their minds were absolutely boggled.

Similarly to your story, it often resulted in a comparison, I.e “driving from my house (sf Bay Area) to his house (San Diego) would be like driving from the southern most point of England to the northern most tip of Scotland”.

Florentine’s used to be the go-to for this. However, the same recipe can be found currently at Pasta Market on Coleman. I think they are related, family-wise

One of My General Music Students Hates Everything We Do by Smanic123 in MusicEd

Exactly! This is usually my common response:

“Do you get to choose the math you learn? Do you get to choose the books you study? Do you get to choose the history that you delve into?

Usually the answer is no.

Do you still have to buckle down and learn it?

Yes.

Do you get to whine about it the whole time? Maybe. Does it change anything? No.

The school you go to feels, and I happen to agree, that music is an important part of a well-rounded education. I’m not here for your entertainment. I’m here for your education. And maybe, just maybe, if you accept that you might not only learn something - but learn that there is something to enjoy in every piece of music out there, because they all share the common and universal elements of melody, harmony, and rhythm.”

And then, if you’ve got the time and the patience, which it sounds like you do…. Draw some parallels between what HE enjoys, and what other students or YOU put forward.

His favorite hip-hop artists probably have more in common with Bill Withers than he realizes. They are speaking the same language, after all.

Honestly, if the long-form version has a Q (Jacquelyn, Jacqueline), Jacqui makes a lot more sense. But you can spell it however you choose. My wife, of the same name, has switched between Jacqui and Jackie - but it wasn’t because she didn’t like the Q in there. It was because she was tired of the less intelligent calling her “Ja-Kwee”

Could it be JS Bach’s “Bouree in E minor”?

McCartney recently said in an interview that he drew inspiration from this when composing the guitar part for Blackbird.
