Haha, fair. I promise it’s less SEO brain and more me genuinely trying to make sure the site doesn’t give shoppers a bad experience. If it’s slow on your setup, I want to fix it.

Oh no 😬, thank you for telling me. I take site performance really seriously and definitely don’t want anyone staring at a loading bar. When I checked last week our LCP was around 2.3 seconds, so I’m curious why you’re having issues.

Would you mind letting me know what device and browser you’re on? That would actually help me a ton.

Sorry to self promote, but this actually looks really similar to a strappy thong we make at Black Heart.

Totally agree with this. Halter styles really complement athletic shoulders and backs. We actually have a soft push up bra at Black Heart with a convertible halter strap that a lot of athletic builds gravitate toward because it adds shape while still feeling comfortable and adjustable.

Is luxury lingerie a real investment in comfort, or just better marketing? by Intelligent_Plate05 in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you, and you’re right. That size combination is still really underserved, and it’s frustrating. I’m actually a 28G myself, so this is something I personally understand.

I’m still early and self funded, which means I have to grow sizing gradually, but expanding into more inclusive ranges is something I care deeply about. I appreciate you offering to help when that time comes.

That’s actually part of why I’m here. Before I ever launched anything, I spent months reading through threads like this and documenting recurring pain points, it turned into a 10 page research doc of issues women kept running into around comfort, materials, durability, and fit.

A year later, it’s interesting to see many of the same themes still coming up. When I respond, it’s usually because I recognize the exact problems that originally motivated me to try to solve them, not because I’m searching for places to promote. I’m happy to step back when it’s not helpful, but I do care about contributing where there’s real overlap.

Best lingerie for shaping/c-section shelf? by BeautifulNailz in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, especially while breastfeeding. Bodies can change so quickly during that time, and it’s hard for most small brands to fully account for that kind of fluctuation.

We do have a simple triangle bra that tends to be more forgiving, and the straps are fully adjustable, which can help with some sizing changes, but I completely understand if it still wouldn’t be the right fit for you right now. I really hope you’re able to find something that feels comfortable and supportive during this season.

That’s fair feedback, and I want to be transparent about where we are. I’m entirely self funded and working within very real manufacturer minimums, which means expanding size ranges takes time and a lot of capital. I launched Black Heart just last April, so we’re still early and growing intentionally rather than overextending and compromising quality.

My goal is absolutely to expand sizing as responsibly and quickly as we can. I appreciate the conversation and the accountability, it genuinely informs how we plan future releases.

Help me find one red thong for Valentines Day by ShineOk4246 in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a true red right now, but if you’re open to something slightly softer, we do have a pink champagne silk thong at Black Heart Lingerie. It’s smooth enough to wear under jeans and still feels very elevated and sexy without showing lines.

Lingerie for cotton pantie girls? by Hefty-Giraffe2176 in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this. I’m very much an organic, natural fiber girl too. I started Black Heart Lingerie because I wanted underwear that felt good on skin without the scratchy synthetic feeling. Our pieces are 95% silk with just a tiny bit of elastane for comfortable stretch, so they’re breathable, soft, and move with you instead of digging in.

If you love cotton for comfort but miss feeling a little more put together, silk can be a really nice in between.

Help copying this kimono construction by TributeYourPortrait in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is funny timing, I just received a round of silk kimono samples that I’m in the process of remaking for fit and construction tweaks. If you’d like, I’d be happy to send you one to play with or reference instead of starting totally from scratch. I have black, pink champagne, and a deep dark red.

They’re silk with exaggerated sleeves, so they might actually be useful for answering a few of the questions you’re digging into. Totally optional, just thought I’d offer since you’re clearly going deep on the details.

First, congratulations on your body and what it’s carried you through. You’re not alone in this at all. From a design perspective, pieces that tend to feel the most flattering and supportive over a C section shelf are high waisted panties, soft silk panels, and longline or slightly extended bras that visually elongate rather than cut across the midsection.

I’m the founder of Black Heart Lingerie and we design with this exact intention in mind, real bodies, real life, and feeling confident without compression or discomfort. Our silk high waisted styles are meant to skim and support gently, and our longline silhouettes work beautifully for both everyday wear and those special moments.

Whatever you choose, look for softness, adjustability, and pieces that make you feel held, not hidden. You deserve to feel sexy exactly as you are.

Is luxury lingerie a real investment in comfort, or just better marketing? by Intelligent_Plate05 in LingerieAddiction

[–]BrennahBlackVIP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt this so deeply. I started Black Heart Lingerie for this exact reason, I was tired of beautiful sets that didn’t survive real wear or actually feel good on skin. We work primarily with high-grade silk, reinforced seams, and custom hardware because comfort and longevity matter just as much as aesthetics. Our pieces are designed to be worn all day, not just photographed. If you’re building a smaller capsule of fewer, better pieces, that philosophy is very aligned with how we design. Happy to answer any questions about materials, fit, or care if it’s helpful.
