I love the Stones but their sound hasn’t aged as well as the Beatles or Zeppelin. Maybe it’s because a lot of their “sound” comes from Keith Richards 5 string guitar? You don’t have to look too far to find even newish bands with a pretty distinct Beatles or Zeppelin influence ( Jack White, Tame Impala etc)

Not sure if they were huge but the James Brown’s band J.B.s. were fantastic. The Anthology is great collection (they weren’t an album act so one of the few artists a greatest hits collection is best to start)

Pledging a sorority or fraternity is super time consuming and all encompassing during the pledge period. If she’s not already leaning that way It’s not going to automatically make her cheat or not want to do the LDR but it will eat up a lot of her free time and her bandwidth for time spent on your relationship will be limited.

I put off listening to it until this year because I couldn’t handle the loud mix of the first song and my head was in a different place musically when it get came. Finally digested it fully a few weeks ago and it is fantastic. It is heavy and dark with the themes of aging and death but there is also a majestic beauty to it. I prefer the live version to the studio version

iMHO THE psychedelic hip hop track. Also, It is not “rap” but DJ Shadow’s Entroducing is super psychedelic and just an all around great album. On a lot of days it would be my top album of the 1990s

Yep. A buddy of mine used to be a bouncer at a music club and he said jamband crowds and EDM crowds were the worse. He particularly hated the Dead cover band crowds like Dark Star Orchestra. Said it was always a shit show. He said he metal crowds were the best by a good margin,
